I was contacted by this number to ROBIN: a loan. The rep gave me the details of the loan and what I needed to do to obtain my money. One time you call them they will tell you they are fast cash usa . They ask you to deposit an amount of money onto a Greendot money pak card. Then you call them with the 14 digit number on the back of the card so they can verify that you are able to make the monthly payments. They will then tell you that they attempted to deposit the money into your account but it was stopped by the Federal System because you owe the Federal Government money. Then they will ask you to go deposit another amount of money onto another Vanilla Prelaod network card. You can kiss any money you load onto one of those cards goodbye, because they, the scammers end up taking your money. If you contact them they will deny they took it, they will tell you it's hung up in the Federal System. If you contact Vanilla Preload they are aware of the scam.

Here is some advise for anyone receiving  phone calls demanding money:

DON"T ANSWER THE PHONE!
If you have caller ID and you don't recognize the number, don't answer it,and if you don't have caller ID get an answering machine and if someone is threatening you if you don't call them back and pay up,
DON"T CALL THEM BACK!
Any money you may owe will be a legitimate letter in the mail.If you do answer the phone;
DON"T EVER GIVE ANYONE YOUR INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE! NO BANK NUMBERS, SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER OR CREDIT CARD NUMBERS. These scammers are never going to give up unless we get smart and stop giving them the what they want. If you get a call like this inform your family,friends and your boss that you are being scammed so if these people do call one of them, especially your boss,they will not be caught off guard.If they threaten you with court action, tell them "I'll see you in court" They won't show up.By law you must be served in PERSON for any court proceedings.Lets stop being victims people. Spread the word. Everyone is at risk to scammers.All debt is regulated by Federal Law. Look it up for you state.

I fell for this once and paid $800 bucks. After some research on various sites and one's like this, I worked with my bank and got my money back. THANK GOD FOR CHASE!!!

Anyway, I check my credit report daily and know exactly what's on it (only school loan left, whew) so I don't get calls anymore but when I was after the above incident I would so screw the people during the call and then right up to the very end I would rattle off all I knew about the laws in Texas regarding this very thing and ask for the surety bond # and last payment on the loan and what my mailing address was when the original loan was taken out and with whome and 100% of the time I would NEVER hear back from them.

Know your laws in your state and don't give these butt toots one inch.

I think im being scammed an indian man called me from a fl number stating that I have been approved for a loan for up to 10,000 dollars. He went over the process and the information on what i will have to pay back. He then asked me did I have 200 for verification purposes and that i would have to load a prepaid card to prove I can make the payments. Since he doesnt have access to my information. I was ok with it until my called dropped and he called back asking if i HUNG UP ON HIM! I am a CSR and i know we aren't suppose to talk to customers that way. He was also nagging me about when I would be able to call him back to make the payment ( I thought i was desperate lol ). Something just doesnt sound right about this I think it is a scam and I have no money to give away. I said i would call tomorrow to finish the process but im not sure now. This is a scam, do not send any money they will take the verification code and get the cash you will never receive any money.  They will also try to tell you that the 200 is a processing fee and if you give them an additional amount they will roll it into the loan.  Be Careful

also got same call but I was going to check intown  pay loan places then check cards at stores
