- Linn| 52 repliesMy caller id shows 800-000-0000. I received 5 calls from this number with 10 minutes span between each other. Contacted my cell phone provider and they promised to block this number. I got one more call today, so I am reporting them on fcc.

- Bill Quimby TollFreeNumbers.com| 5 repliesYou may aleady know this but your posts didn't mention it so I thought I'd add that this is NOT a valid phone number. No phone number in the US can start with a 0 or 1 in the first digit after the area code. That's just the way the system is set up.
- Chris replies to LinnThis is a political campaign recorded message.
- chrisi too recieved about 7 calls a day from this number.
i finaly answered it after about 2 weeks and it was a recording tell of goverment grants, for supporting a campaign or some thing after i listen to the hole thing and then it hangs up on you. i thinks its one of those, long distant calls that you have to pay type things and they charge you the bill.
but when you have a cell phone it doesn't work due to billing is through the cell company not the telephone company.- Caller: ? about grants
- yukonjohnThis is the Consummers gas company way of calling. Just incase you owe them big time.
- Caller: Consumers Gas
- Call type: Unwanted
- Shelly| 1 replyThey just called me about 30 minutes ago, and when I answere there was no answer
- bobCalled for the 5th time in the past 4 hours. Everytime Ive answered an told them not to call again. Claimed it was about a free subscription for a golf magazine.
- lovebeingamamaI did a "survey" online and gave them my cel number a little while ago and since I've been getting calls from this number, I never answered to see who or what it was I know by the number they are trying to hard sell. I just don't answer. Thank goodness for caller id.
- nlyI have been receiving calls that appear as "out of area" or "unknown" and there is no # shown. I have tried *69 but a telephone co. recording says the number cannot be called that way. This has been going on for over 3 months. We never answer, it always goes to the machine and of course they never leave a message. In fact I think the call disconnects just before the answering machine picks up. Some days they call as many as four times. Yesterday, Sunday morning the first call came in at 9:11 a.m. and they called 3 more times throughout the day. At times I have picked up and said hello and after the pause they pick up and say hello and I remain silent and then they hang up. I hoped that would discourage them but it hasn't. I even picked up and had my 3 dogs bark into the receiver but nothing discourages them. Isn't this harrassment? If I knew the number I would report it but there is no number to report. Any ideas?
- Caller: Unknown I haven't spoken to them
- Shirley RogersReceive a call every day, I do not answer. I have an unlisted number and am on the do not call list
- undefinedAnother post said this is a default number when your phone does not have the info. Just like "unavailable". So, apparently it's used buy callers trying to hide themselves -- ie, telemarketers, golf subscriptions, other BS.
- StarAngelI get this call many times a week. I let it go to my voicemail. When i check there's an automated voice saying to "Press 1 now" and that's it. There's been times when it's been a health insurance company, survey company, and w/e else. It seems to be a mask for multiple telemarketing companies. They probably all work under the same network. Then, no matter where they call from, or what it's about, their ID# is the same.
- Caller: unknown
- JChandlerIDT Carmel, they will call my cellular repeatedly harrassing me for a debt owed and when told not to call me again, they become obscene and judgemental, when asked for the callers name they do not give one but become verbally abusive or obscene. They call upwards of 10 times a day.
- Caller: IDT Carmel
- Call type: Debt collector
- KalahI got a call at 5:18pm from 800-000-0000 I didn't answer but it left a voicemail, I check it and it was just a recording saying "Thanks! Have a great day!" So I have no idea what that's supposed to mean..
- Sunshinekeep receiving calls from 8000000000
- ChenoaThis # called and hung up on me when I answered.

- CHOIR MAMAI received over 20 calls from this (800)number, in groups of 4-5 in 4-5 minutes. It continued over a 24 hour period. I answered twice but no one was there. I did a call back and was told it was not a valid number. So I called Sprint and went through some riga-ma-role with them. They were totally useless and told me to call back if it should continue. Finally the calls stopped. Now Sprint calling me with the Customer number several times in the past 24 hours, but they never leave a message. So here we go again!
- mississippi girl 84I keep getting calls as well. They'll stop for a few days and then continue and they call within 3-6 minutes of each other. when they first started calling me I answered, and I never heard anything, then one other time when I answered it was a voice recording that said, 'Hello, we've been trying to reach you about the opportunity for you to work at home"
I immidiately hung up..I just recieved 2 calls about 10 minutes ago, they were just about 2-3 minutes apart. Oh, they're calling as of now...
