Appears to be a SCAM, purporting to be AT&T, trying to frighten people (perhaps elderly seniors) into making a payment on a web site in amounts ranging from $200 to $500.  It is NOT AT&T, per their "Annoyance Call Bureau" at 1-800-348-8727.  AT&T's "Annoyance Call Bureau" told me they CAN NOTdo ANYTHING about it (Incredible !!!) and passed the buck to the FTC  (Federal Trade Commission) at 1-877-382-4357.  AT&T has now been informed verbally of the misuse of their corporate name, but the AT&T representative who answered the phone at the "Annoyance Call Bureau" did not appear to be interested in that fact for possible prosecution, and instead referred me to the FTC, and gave me the phone number 1-877-382-4357 for the FTC and said to speak to a "Consumer Counselor".  One would think that with all the money AT&T makes they could afford lawyers to file suit against people misusing their corporate name to frighten and harass people, and cost them money by using up their cell phone minutes (at best), and at worst perhaps frightening elderly seniors and potentially causing health problems for them.  To my mind this is despicable. Calls have come in from multiple 800 numbers, but always the same male voice (recorded) with essentially the same message demanding money.  I have NEVER had a phone bill as high as $200, let alone $500.  For more detailed information see my "Annonymous" post on this site under 800-274-2599 on 30 March 2014.
