Recorded message thanked me for choosing Walmart Pharmacy to fill perscriptions. Said I should update my info, gave above # to call back or go Walmart.com
    1. Don't use Walmart for Perscriptions.
    2. Don't use any online services for Perscriptions.
    3. Call came in on secondary phone.
I believe this call was either robo-dialing or someone's old info records have been hacked.
    Am blocking this #.

Left me a voicemail to have me change my Walmart pharmacy preferences. I have not used a walmart pharmacy in over a year. I believe this is a scam.

message left on my answering machine from Walmart. I do use Walmart for my prescriptions and am so glad that I checked this site before calling them back with personal info. Thanks to all who responded.

Seemingly legitimate call robocall from Walmart Pharmacy informing about their expanded text notifications option for pharmacy customers. No personal information was requested. I called my local Walmart pharmacy directly just to confirm. The Pharmacy rep. confirmed they have expanded notification text options.  She was unaware of the informational robocall but that doesn't surprise me.

I don't think it's a scam. The recorded message directed me to Walmart  website. I searched the number before I listened (I don't pick up 800 numbers) to see if it was a scam, but I don't think it is. No such thing as too paranoid though.

call supposedly from walmart pharmacy. I have their # in my contacts and it wasn't this number. Said something about updating my information. I go every week to pick up meds and they have all my info and when they asked for personal info I hung up. They do not ask for personal information over the phone.

Got a call from this number as well as 800-201-0595. I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number. I get my Rx filled at Sam's and both Sam's and WM use the same recorded message system. I wouldn't trust this number at all.

Walmart is upgrading their old numbers to eliminate those that do not belong anymore. such as you might have new number and did not change it at the pharmacy. I got a letter in the mail from an address I lived at 10 years ago. good thing I know the people the live there now!

Message said they were calling from my local Walmart regarding changes in message alerts. Funny thing though this is NOT my local Walmart's phone #. I'm guessing it's a scam to obtain personal information. I will check with my local pharmacy to find out though.

Claims to be Walmart Pharmacy portal. Sounds fishy because I haven't used Walmart Pharmacy  for a few years. Called local Walmart pharmacy and learned neither my wife or I have any pending prescriptions in system. Call wanted to know if "I would like to update system." Blocking number immediately.

I do use Walmart, but this robocall left a message that I should call back the 800 number to allow them to put more detailed information when they leave phone messages for me (type of prescription, etc.).  Sounded reasonable (and Walmart's legitimate number comes up as "unidentified" anyway), so I called the number back.  A recording was trying to send me some kind of health related book, but they would need my home address.  Yikes, I hung up.  Smells like phishing.

My spouse uses Wal-Mart Pharmacy, but it was not apparent from the 800 number. So I came here to find out. Glad I didn't pick up. I usually don't when Caller ID reveals unfamiliar phone numbers.

Called number back. it is legitimate, but yes it does raise a red flag the way scammers are calling. They also say that you can talk to your local Walmart pharmacy and update it there. Which if I was going to update anything I would feel more comfortable doing it in person.

Wal-mart pharmacy recording left message that they have upgraded / changed their mobile terms of use.  Directed me to a web page that describes changes:

    Appears to check out ok.
