Left a very rude and threatening message.  I am not even the person they want.  I've told them to stop calling.

Yep ... Chris Meyers called a family member of mine asking for my wife. Fortunately, my family does not provide unknown people with our information, but it makes me wonder how often this occurs.  We are in debt settlement, almost paid off our creditors, so am not too surprised.  I believe that this is another tactic they use to get people to call them, i.e. call their family members and say that you are from a collection agency and would like to speak with (person), knowing full well what they are doing and hoping that they will embarrass people.
