A Lyndon Hall said he was calling regarding my "credit card balances" and "minimum payments that are going up."  It was imperative that I call back about a "debt reduction allowance program."  He talked VERY fast.  Made it sound like it was about my personal credit cards, but I'm thinking it's really some sort of telemarking call...I did not call him back.

I got a voicemail from Lyndon Hall.  I believe he works for a service that combines all of your credit card balances and you pay them one fee so they can pay your creditors. We have been looking at these programs and doing a lot of research on the internet so maybe he got my name from there.  BEWARE OF DEBT REDUCTION PROGRAMS!  SOME ARE LEGITIMATE AND SOME TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T PAY THE CREDITORS ON TIME.  This is definitely a junk call fishing for people to sign up with his program.

Same message as others have received. We are an office and do not have any credit card debits. We are on The Do Not Call list and I am reporting this to them. I have received this exact same message from other phone numbers and the only thing that was different was the person's name. I think this is a BIG scam and deleted the number and message.

Same here.  I got a call at my work number from a "Linden hall" from "channel dox information" saying it is "imperative" that i call back at 800-210-2731 about minimum payments that are going up - have no cc balances, so obviously it's a scam.

I also recieved a message from this person but it was wierd it was like only got the end of his message.  All I got was "Again my name is Lyndon Hall, my phone number is 1-800-210-2731, and it imperative that you give me a call."

This is my 3rd time calling them in a matter of months asking to be removed.  We are also on the Do Not Call Registry.  Something is fishy, because I called back to speak with a live person 3 times about this, and each time they hung up on me when I asked their street address.  One time I was told they are in Vancouver Canada.

Call # 4: I called back acting like I wanted their services, and they started asking me questions telling me they have to have someone call me back.

They are either a debt collection agency of some sort, or scam artists and the person calling back will be putting the hard sell on, no doubt asking very personal information.

I know someone who fell for getting a business loan with a fake Canadian Bank, and actually sent the $500 application fee in, and the phone was disconnected when they called back to make sure the money was received.  They lost their $500, and nothing could be done because it was out of the country. (this person was not a native citizen of the US) I am wondering if this "credit card consolidation" is actually a scam where they not only get your personal ID info, but talk you into sending money for fake services.

I had previously contacted my state attorney general (MA) about this, but never heard anything.

I would think with all the things to worry about on the home front, that these losers are not given the smack down by US authorities.  I'm sure they are preying on innocent victims every day.

I'm tempted to call with legit info and see how far they go with asking for personal information and money.

Lyndon Hall from Channel Docs called and said, "I'm calling regarding your credit card balances and the minimum payments that are going up. It is imperative that you call me back. You now qualify for the debt reduction allowance program. Again, my name is Chris St. James, and my phone number is (800) 210-2892."

It's definitely a telemarketer. He never states what credit card company he is calling from. Don't mind him.

I received a call from the same above mentioned "Lyndon Hall" today who used the same line about that it was imperative that I call 800-210-2731. I listened to the message several times but could not identify the name of the company, so I called the number. A man named "Guy" answered, told me Lyndon wasn't available, and when I asked the name of their company, he hung up on me. After work I tried the number again and a young woman told me the name of the company is "Channel Dox" (I asked the spelling) and she told me they are a debt reduction program. I asked if they had access to my credit records, but she said they did not - that they merely give a courtesy call to help people. She said those that wanted help would call. I thanked her and hung up. When I researched this on the internet, I found you all! Thanks for letting me vent.

    Bothered
Got the same fast-talking message from "Lyndon Hall" with Channel Dox. I loved how he used the phrase "it's IMPERATIVE you call me back" two or three times. Of course, they ignored the fact that I'm on the DNC register.

I called back on Skype and got hooked up to a rep:

Them: "Customer service, how can I assist you?"
Me: "Why is imperative that I call you back?"
Them: "It's a courtesy call to let people know we can help them with their credit card debt"
Me: "You didn't answer my question. Why is it IMPERATIVE that I call you back?"
Them: "It's to help you if you have balances on your credit cards"
Me: "Perhaps you don't understand the question. I'm not asking why you are bothering me, because I know. I'm asking why your message says it is imperative that I call you back. Do you know what the word "imperative" means?"
    Them: "Umm..."
Me: "That's what I thought. Goodbye"

Anyway, hopefully their 800 number is charged on incoming volume or something and my little call cost them a penny. Jerks.

Same thing here....I actually called it this morning; when I asked for Lyndon Hall - the guy on the phone told me I had the wrong number and he hung up.  I think it is a phishing scam.  I have re-registered my numbers on the national "Do Not Call List" - this should not be allowed.

I am a employee in a call center and I have to transcribe this same message from lyndon every day and through this site I found that it is a SPAM kind of thing but still I will have to transcribe it because transcribing is my job so next time you get this spam through e-mail or SMS then it may have been sent by me or my colleague so kindly forgive me. and for my clloeage I am writing this SPAM "Call me regarding the credit card balances and the minimum payment for that are currently going up. Its imperative that you give me a call back because you are not qualified for the debt reduction allowance program. Again my name is Lyndon Hall and my phone number is 1-800-210-2731 and it is imperative that you give me a call."

first off basu, you call people and bother them all day, dont you?"call center" yeah right.second, this is a scam and michigan atty general and all others know it but do nothing. They use phone line provided by lucre inc.(e-mail them) out of the same area.simon phelps, lydon, lyndin hall, debt reduction allowance, channel dox,lib mgt inc are some of thier fake names but not all. From what I can tell so far its a fairly new phone scam and not even a good one, just a pain.Hopefully the guy that started it is soon jailed or has a run in with a train late one night.Until then dont say yes to any questios or push buttons on your phone.talking to them does no good, its a half computer half human thing depending on your answers.hey michigan get with the program.
