These people are part of a scam network running the "Microsoft Scam".  They call you pretending that they are from Microsoft and tell you that you have multiple viruses on your computer.  They have you give them access to your computer via TeamViewer and they plant malware.  Then they try to get you to give them your credit card number to sell you  software to remove the malware that they placed on your computer.  Microsoft does not call you to tell you that you have viruses.  DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER.  DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.  IT'S A SCAM!

The same as above. Lady who called herself Jane Foster was trying to gain assess to my computer by convincing me to share my computer's microsoft license number. After I asked several questions I was told that they receive notifications from my computer about all sorts of malware and spyware, she also tried to convince me that any protective program I have is a scam. I got the above number from her and also her employee number. which is( I would think is made up) msbd8001. That was the end of my encounter.

First, if Ebiz has erred with our account it is that they have extended our subscription so that we still have more time that we originally paid for!. That is explained in the online description of the company. In the time that we have been associated with Ebiz the manner in which we are able to make contact with a technician has been greatly streamlined. It used to be that calling the phone number would put us in contact with Mr. ******* or another employee, who would, in turn, dial the service team. Now the call is routed directly to the techs. Also, the business was originally touted as being available 24/7. It is now available M-F during regular business hours. Ebiz techs keep accurate records of my calls. For example, I recently called and made an informal appointment to call on a certain day. When I called back several days later the tech who answered asked me if I was the one who was going to call before. We do receive occasional calls from India reporting that we supposedly have viruses on our computer(s). However, I do not believe that those calls necessarily come from Ebiz techs. We have never had any negative issues with the use of the Team Viewer program. It always gives the option of refusing the service. In my opinion, considering that a computer tune-up will cost upwards of $100 on a one-off basis, Ebiz gives a very good alternative.

"... said someone was trying to hack my computer"
Which is true - they are the ones trying to hack peoples' computers. Instead of relying on booby-trapped websites, they trick people into letting them access computers through a legitimate remote-access program.
