What to know what company this is

One from this number called my work and left message with the office manager. Left name of Barbara Smith at 800-214-7845 and actuall told her a case number 2815753. Sounds like a phone number without the area code. I don't know who this person is or who they work for. All I know is I can't get personal calls at work!

Who are these people and is it a scam they called me today????

800-214-7845 has been calling me and referenced a claim number.  they said I owed money for a past jeep I owned.  They asked me to set up a payment plan with them.  I asked them to email me some paperwork and they never did.  Now they are calling me again demanding money.  The person's name was Sheila Weitz .....  is this a scam, they said it was on my Trans Union....I printed out my credit report and it is not on there......

This number belongs to CRS & Associates/ credit collection company
Caller represented herself to be from the San Bernadino County Courthouse trying to notify a relative that they had 24 hours to respond or face legal/criminal penalties.  This company falsely represented themselves in an effort to obtain information on another party.

Message was left with a third party at home number, a retired criminal investigator, who no doubt was able to get his story straight and a credible witness.

A complaint is being forwarded to San Bernadino District Attorney's Office for action.

Some woman name Karen Hazel calling my number saying there was some case brought against me and left a case number and for me to call. I checked on the web to see what company this woman was calling from and it CRS & Associates. I don't know what it is about and I am not calling it back. She did not say where she was calling from just left a case number and for me to call.

I got a call from a Karen Hazel telling me that someone brought a case against me and I call and she told me that it was for a Mastercard that I had and I told her that I have never had a mastercard. They have me mix-up with someone else. I had notified the Attorney General Office about this woman Karen Hazel who is with CRS & Associates. She was very rude and then when I tried to tell her that I did not have a mastercard she trying to tell me that I would be garnishee and I told her that I did not have any Mastercard and then she hung up on me. She was very rude.

We get a daily recorded message that claims to be from a debt collector. They don't mention which collection agency they represent or what the debt is about. They say the message is for a relative of mine "John Doe", and everyone else except him should leave the room immediately, before they go on with the message. The message ends by saying "John Doe" should call this number 800-214-7845

If we pick up the phone, the message changes and says "Hang up if you are not "John Doe"". There is never a person on the line, always a recording.

"John Doe" doesn't live with me, never has, never will. I don't know his phone number and I wouldn't give it out even if I did. He is mentally challenged and no one in their right mind would lend him money.

I would like to send a "cease and desist" letter to whoever is making these calls, but I guess that is why they hide behind anonymous numbers and don't say who they are.
