A debt collector

call us all the time asking for someone who no longer works here.

This is the back line number to someones desk. I wish I had a front line into company I would call everyday and ask for someone just to return the favor.

debt collector calling saying his name is Paul Walker calling for County Clerk Ray Clock.  He gave a case # and all!  Calling from private line but left this number on voice mail.

woman saying she needs to hear from me or my attorney today in regards to a case that will be filed monday morning at the county clerks office

I received a message from Ray Cropp saying that my case will be filed Tuesday at 9:00 AM.  Somehow I don't believe him since his message on Friday said that it would be filed first thing Monday morning.  He is just trying to scare you into calling.

Texas has its faults, but one of the nice things about living here is that bill collectors cannot sue for delinquent debts.  Only the original creditors can sue for collection.  I never answer these calls.  I let the machine answer, and then I delete the messages.

Called and left a message saying that i had a deposition at the county clerks office monday. I called back and left a message on their answering machine saying that i never received anything in the mail. That obveously they had my phone number. they could get my address and do things properly.

received a call today from this office... they gave me a case number.. does that mean a lawsuit is being filed or is it intimidation?

Ray Kropp or Cropp or other alias he may go by calls and says he's from the county clerk's office but fails to identify the county as if they would call at all if it's a legal matter all correspondence is done by formal letters not unverifiable phone calls he is bs do not call back he is a scammer

a scam i can put everything i say in writing if you call and request the info,cant provide that info when you go hiding from your debts the only one scaming is you guys by sighning contracts and then not honoring them,people used to have some sham about not paying there bills you guys are proud of it how pathetic

texas is a wonderful state but if you would do a little homework you would now that you can be sued over debt just no wage garnishment people are so [***] stupid

Wouldn't that render said judgment unenforceable? You still could not collect.

Got a call from a gentleman calling himself "Daniel" (came up UNKNOWN CALLER on my caler ID) regarding a legal matter, saying I had 7 days to respond to his office and gave me a case # and a # to call back 1-800-214-7875.  He said if I didn't respond to this case a lawsuit would be filed in my local court.  First of all....he 'claims' he's calling from a law office...what law office is open at 2:20 in the afternoon on a Saturday???  Can anyone please tell me is this a LEGIT call or is it a scam???  What company is he representing???  I don't appreciate being threatened or disrespected by someone calling my home.  Smells like some BS to me...

I have no dept the person they ask for does not live here.  They said if it is not you hang up.  I did.  They have called here 6 times.  I do NOT KNOW WHO THEY ARE AFTER!!!
