Just got one in Reston, Virginia. PLEASE DO NOT PAY, total scam using the same $425 scheme claiming Telecom Maintenance Agreement.

I do the books for 2 companies at the same office location. I got a letter for each company yesterday. I knew there is no way we would have ordered this service for both companies since they share telephone lines. Total scam. FYI Maryland here.

Received the invoice in FLORIDA today (June 6, 2013) for:

TELECOM MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT $425.00

The "invoice" you get is not a real invoice, it is actually an "advertisement".

I have been informed that if you read the fine print, near the end, you should see:
"This is a solicitation for an order of goods or services, or both, and not a bill, invoice or statement of account due.  You are under no obligation to make any payments on account of this offer unless you accept this offer."

So, it's not truly a scam, but any company that resorts to this type of deceptive business practice deserves no business at all.
So feed the shredder with their "bill" and tell everyone that UST is an untrustworthy business.

Our business just received a letter/invoice for $425.00 from UST out of California. We are located in Daytona Beach, FL, and have no idea what this is for. I called the 800-217-9437 number listed and after being on hold for over 10 minutes finally got a male customer service representative who proceeded to tell me that in the fine print, under #10 on the back states this is not a bill or invoice, HOWEVER, if you do pay from this invoice you are accepting the 3-YEAR contract to pay this amount monthly. A TOTAL SCAM....I asked to be taken off their marketing list and to not call or mail our office again.

They seem relentless.  I just received a bill from them today 6/26/13.  You would think with everyone sending these to the Attorney General that these scam artists would be stopped.
