This is a fraudulent number that is trying to leech off of unsuspecting people that are trying to call pay pal. Pay Pals customer service number is 888 221 1161, but if some one were to accidentally dial 800 instead of 888 they end up calling these scam artists saying that they will give you a $100 gift card if you pay for the shipping and handling. SCAM. STAY AWAY. NOT PAY PAL. 800 221 1161. FAKE. IDENTITY THEFT.

I had the same thing.  Received an email from webform@paypal.com with a link to the fake 1-800 number above.  Went to a company called Holiday Cruise Lines.  Obviously fake, but how did they get my details and know I had recently made a PayPal transaction?

Scary.

I called to speak to someone from PayPal and instead received a scam about how I can spend 1.95 and get a 100 dollar rebate to selected retailers. It's a scam....BEWARE!

This 888 221 1161. Number is a Fraudulent scammer, it show Identity theft from the number calling in the people are Chinese scammers , just told them a police and FBI agent online , they hang up immediately

I just received a call saying they were from paypal. I went to PayPals website and called from there. They had no record of calling me and said it was a scam. I did use PayPal the night before.
