- Kathie924 replies to FrankThis came from Medical Center of Arlington regarding surgery I had. Take the call. If you have been in the hospital, they can set up a payment plan. Or perhaps you qualify for charity. You won't know if you don't talk to them.
- Jennifer replies to deleted postDouche
- BonnieScam caller. Told me I owed money to a hospital that I don't.
Haven't been to the hospital they mentioned in 10 years and co pays were paid back then with insurance company picking up rest.
Wanted my personal info.. socials security number, date of birth, bank I use.. to clear matter up.
I refused to give an unknown person that information.. especially for something I didn't owe !
Would love to know how they got access to hospital records to try and scam me out of money.- Caller: claimed they were some patient account service

- WT replies to amandaI worked for a hospital corporation and a lot of the time we had to call people if the insurance needed something from them, like accident details or checking to see if you have a secondary insurance, so their bill will be paid. Unfortunately, we were required to call all numbers listed on the hospital forms, even emergency contacts and employers. I know it's aggravating and I hated doing it but it really is to help out the patient. It could be that you don't owe a bill, only the insurance needs information from you so they can pay the bill.
- MemeThey called while I was taking my kid to school very early morning when I answered they hung up.

- MarkCalled my cell I do not answer 800 calls , blocked number
- shirley hejkaI don't answer numbers I don't recognize & those that NEVER leave a message. They call every day and very often but NEVER leave a message & unknown.

- MeCaller left a message indicating they were connected with CJW Hospital. When I called back, they asked about my bill at the hospital, which struck me strange since I've been paying on it. From what the lady stated, if you don't have a set payment plan setup, they refer it over to collections. Yeah, makes a lot of sense to harass a heart patient who's been paying on their bill.

- Ms. "S"I received a phone call and I could barely understand her broken English..the conversation started out with her getting my first name right and my last name wrong, and when I told her that wasn't my last name, she rudely stated.. "well I'm sure your name was that at some point"... ummm no! Sorry, it was never my last name. The conversation went sour and her rudeness escalated and my patience was running thin and she would not tell me what the call was regarding.. she then quickly said I must have the wrong number and hung up on me.
- BeauxZeaux replies to BigA| 1 replyBigA! I cannot believe that no one has acknowledged the superfine advice you've provided at no charge about NPAS right here!! Personally, it should become the template for the masses to return to review & follow to the letter for any/all future bogus collection agency contacts that U.S. citizens do or may come across at any time in their financial futures. This is very empowering information that allows us everyday victims to avoid "garbage collection agencies", and the many junkyard dogs which they employ, from getting a leg up on us & setting us up for "sewer serviced" judgments & all the other twisted & often illegitimate activities they can & may throw our way! KUDOS & Many Many Many Thanx for showing us the way to resolve & put the kabosh on these nasty characters by ourselves. Its so nice to know we have a method to follow if we choose to do it ourselves & avoid paying attorney's fees to get bogus collections put down properly & laid to rest. BigA, You are the MOAGA (Mother of All Great Advice)! Tx, BZ
- BZ replies to TiffanyPut their phone number on your Block Call From list with your cell provider. The number of bogus & harrassing callers can get horrendous. It's just better not to let them even disturb your peace of mind. You'll be a happier person if you just do it & avoid their irritations altogether.
