- Kandi| 1 replyTotal scam. Texted me to ask if I recognized a charge to my Credit One card. When I texted back N they texted right back saying they had to talk to me right away and to call 1-800-225-8300. I called the real Credit One number and they said that number is not theirs. Do not give these people your personal info!!!!!!!!

- NieshaI just received a text from this number about my card. I ended up calling my bank and there was fraudulent charges pending. However, credit one did not know who the text or number were from as it wasn’t their customer service number. BEWARE guys!

- unhappy customerGot the text as those above, called the number, same drill. Followed up calling the number on the back of my card, said they did not know the number 800-225-8300. Asked what their fraud dept # was and she said they don't have one. Well after logging on to the site they do have one, so that wasn't true. I called back canceled my card, even though the new caller insisted 800-225-8300 was the right number for their fraud dept. I told her the website has a completely different #. None of them can speak clear English, very hard to understand. They did confirm the same erroneous charge and verified the amount, same as text.

- JanayeWe called this number from a text message saying we had a charge on our account that might be fraud. They fished for information and got a call back after hanging up asking for more information to check the account. We are calling to cancel our card now! So stupid and frustrating!

- TheRealSeriously® replies to JamieWhoop-de-do! So what if it was legit for you? You don't get the concept that scammers SPOOF such numbers to appear legit THEMSELVES!
- Tygerkat replies to JamieGood idea, giving some random caller your credit card number. The really good idea, of course, would have been to call the number on the back of your card.

- Jc| 1 replyScam...scam...scam.. they are collecting all your personal information and then they place you on hold while they keep charging your credit card.
- Tygerkat replies to JcWhy would they bother to place you on hold while they charge your credit card?
- Say.QuesoThis number called and left a message saying they were Credit One Bank's fraud department. Only thing is, it's not! When I called Credit One, they informed me they will never call about Fraudulent activities, they'll email you with the number to contact. Like I suspected it's a scam to get your information. Even though it says it's your credit card company, and my message even stated the last 4 digits of my card, it is not Credit One. Don't ever give out your info to this number, call Credit One directly!
