Same thing just happened to me. They called repeatedly and did not respond when I answered.

This is a customer service type number for Vivint Security in Utah.  They sell home security and automation products.  The calls that you might normally get from this number would be a heads up that their system is being alerted to a problem with one of your items. Like a low battery signal, a sensor issue or an alarm.

So its a telemarketing call. I wouldn't classify that as "valid" if they are monitoring your security system and use that info to try selling something that should already be covered in your service package.
