email claimed to be from pnc bank claiming problem with my on-line acct which i dont have. Poor grammar and vocabulary misuse indicated poor attempt at scam.

Same here.  Email claimed to be from PNC bank wanting me to click on a link to fix my account. Never heard of them.  Classic fishing scam. F U motherlover.
