And than without leaving me time to respond back that crazy voice said: so you are not older than 18?and hung up!!! What a f...k????- Caller: daily news subscriber
- dreamerthey've been calling every day for the past 2 months its very ANNOYING!!!
- JessicaI kept getting calls from this number weeks ago and finally answered before they hung up. It turned out to be the daily news and I told them that I don't read the paper and to stop calling me. A couple of weeks later I got a call from them again and they said that they would give me free tickets to an aquarium if I signed up for the newspaper. I told them I don't support the captivity of animals and that I don't support the destruction of forrests for newspapers. They said they would take me off of the list. It has been about three weeks and today I got 3 missed calls from them again. This is ridiculous.

- Girl Fridayon 2/18 I received 2 calls from this same number a few hours apart on my WORK cell phone: the first from Daily News included an offer for carpet cleaning, the second was just for the paper with no offer. On the second call I told the guy I didn't want to be on their call list anymore and he said that it was a "corporate" call. Very obnoxious to be bothered by this type of call on a holiday.

- BufordI wrote under the original harrassing phone call number of 877.871.9585, but wanted to let you know that I get this one an awful lot. It may have nothing to do with the 877 number just mentioned, but there are some similarities to when I get the unwanted calls. Please beware. PS. my pen name is Buford under the above referenced numbers.

- ginaI recieved 5 phone calls from this number within a 10 minute period. The first time, the crazy-woman asked for Diana...I told her she had the wrong number and to not call back. She called right back, I told her we were on the do-not-call list and to not call back she told me that she had to verify some information and would call back. I told her if she called back I would report her to the F.C.C. She called right back and would not release my line for 6 minutes...I could could not get a dial tone because she kept the line on. She finally hung up to call right back...my husband answered and she didn't say a word! Then she did the same thing...she would not hang up! It was and is total harrassment!!!!!

- Power RangerL.A. Daily news. Do they still print newspapers? Gee, if I ever want yesterday's news, I'll sign right up! Newspapers are quaint and old fashioned, kinda makes me think of post war America, when you would unfold one of these monstrosities right at the kitchen table and see how President Harry Truman was getting along.
It's 2009 and newspapers are about as relevant as horse drawn carriages. I wonder if they still have reporters that wear wool fedoras and carry giant cameras with big flashbulbs? Does anybody still scream "Stop the presses!"? Ahhh newspapers, ya gotta hand it to them, they keep trying. They're dead but they just don't know it yet...
Thanks for calling, L.A. Daily News, I won't be subscribing, but you did bring back some fond memories from 50 years ago.- Caller: Daily News
