Received a SCAM mailing from this company. I called the (800)236-0615 from a private line and was placed into a hold queue playing music that sounded like a ring central phone system. An operator picked up ("Rob"). and I asked him his company name. He answered "Tax Group".  I asked if that was inc. or llc? Rob asked me "Why I wanted to know this?" I answered that I received a mailing regarding an alleged "Distraint Warrant" (I have no such warrant).  I Explained that the mailing looked like it  came from "Suffolk County" NY as it had the County name in the letterhead.  Rob explained that the mailing was sent from a third party marketing company and asked me if I wanted tax resolution help. When I said no he abruptly hung up on me.

I received a note also from this company looking as if it is was from the State of California with a "distraint notice."  Its an ad for a tax resolution company.  It's not from the State or any taxing authority.
