Same experience as "Nana" -- repeated and continuing calls, leaving an automated message for someone who is not me, with instructions to hang up and not listen if the person named in their automated message is not me.

Problem is, there's no way to _tell_ these people they've got the wrong number.  They're some kind of collection agency apparently, and they just keep calling.

I've tried calling the 800 number back in hopes of getting a human who can correct/update whatever list they have, but you get stuck in their caller tree queue ("all of our representatives are busy...").

It borders on harassment.  Particularly annoying since it is my cell phone.

What you should do is call from a phone with unlimited minutes and call them back 24 x7, auto dial.   They will be billed for the toll.  If you have 100 people doing this, I would think this company will think twice before calling others.

Received a call, but couldn't decipher what name they were saying. The computer voice was garbled and unintelligible. I hung up because how can I know if I am the person they tried to reach when I can't understand what they are saying? I figured if I did press one to find out who they were trying to reach, their system would start calling me endlessly.
