They left a message on my answering machine: "We have an important
issue to discuss with you. It would be in your best interest to call back ASAP". No idea who it is, but I definitely not going to call them back.

    "We have an important
issue to discuss with you. It would be in your best interest to call back ASAP".

I called them, and a lady named Arlene answered.
She asked for my name and number. I told her I wouldn't give her that information unless she told what her company was and what the call was concerning. She refused the information and threatened to keep calling until I gave them my information.

I am sure this is a collection agency. I also got a similar voice message from them.

I am getting messages from this company several times a day asking for a person whom I have never heard of.  I called them and told them that no one by that name lives here and asked them to stop calling.  They continue to call several times a day. Their number on the caller ID shows up as unavailable, but the number they leave to call back is 800-236-2380.

I too get this message about twice daily. It always is listed as "No Caller ID".  I have my number registered on the do not call registry, but they still call. They also are using a recorded greeting, because depending on when I answer, or send it to voice mail, the beginning of their message is cut off at different points.  This has been going on for 3 weeks now and I do not know when it will stop.

These "Urgent Matter" calls are always collection agencies. Their tactic is to call everyone in the country that has the same name as the late payer. This has happened to me several times in the last few years because I apparently have the same name as a late payer. I make a sport out of it now- I demand the callers name, I demand the name of their supervisor, I ask for their address, I ask to speak to the supervisor, I ask them if they even know who they are calling, I ask them if they respect the Do Not Call list, I threaten to call the AG in my state with the info they just gave me. They get very snippy. Have fun and F--k with them. Abuse them, they deserve it. I had the last woman almost crying. I advised her to seek honest work.

I constantly get these calls from 800-236-2380.  I just called and a recording answered with the name NATIONAL ENTERPRISE SYSTEM.  When someone picked up the phone I told them that their # has been showing up on my caller ID.  They asked me if I had an account with so & so and I said no.  She said Mam' I can't pull anything up for you, I'll remove your #.  Sounds to me like an agency that makes collection calls for different companies.

National Enterprise System calls 2 or 3 times daily at the company I work for.  Very frustrating when I have to hurry a legitamite phone call to answer these nonsense calls.  I've called them every day this week asking them to stop.  They can not tell me who they are trying to reach and so far the calls have not stopped.  Any ideas who we should report them to?

I am constantly receiving calls from this 800-236-2380#...everyday, all day long. Beginning around 8am every morning. I am registered with the Do NOT Call Registry and I have reported them several times. About 3 weeks ago I called the 800# back and they asked me what was the # they called, I gave them my phone # and the woman told me that nothing came up with my phone# therefore they would remove my phone # from their calling list. However, the calls are getting worse.  For example, today, I received 10 phone calls at these times: 8:29am, 8:37am, 8:38am, (these 2 were back to back) 10:12am, 11:31am, 11:47am, 11:48am (again these 2 were back to back) 3:15pm, 3:32pm, 3:33pm (and again these 2 were back to back).  I am not sure how they dialed so fast cause as soon as the call hung up (after they left this annoying message) it rang right away again only to leave the SAME annoying message.  Because I already called them and the fact that it is a recording and not a live person, and the fact they do not tell you where they are calling from I refuse to call them again.  But these calls have to stop.  I don't have any outstanding or late bills so I know it's not a collection call.  And if it was, you get a live person and they leave their name, #, and the name of the company that is calling. I wish there was something that someone or myself could do to stop this. It should not be aloud. Especially when I am registered with the DNC Registry.

I got them to stop-- on my incoming message, I said, if you are from 800-236-2380 please do not call. If I receive more calls from your company I will press harassment charges.

I received two calls from them.  The first person I talked to was at least civil, but of course would tell me nothing about why they were calling.  They just demanded that I give them a number for my daughter, who apparently is who they were trying to get a hold of.  I asked if it was a collection matter and she finally said yes.  The second call the woman I talked to was very rude and demanding.  I said I would not give her any information and in fact did not have the information she was asking for, if she would not give me any information about why she was calling.  She as much as indicated that if I did not get in touch with my daughter immediately and she did not call right away that something  "dire" was going to happen to us all.  I often wonder what kind of people they get to work for them that can be so rude and threatening.  I did call back and respoonded  as (I think it was) Marie.  When I gave them my name and number she said she could not find my name on their list and they must have been dialing the wrong number and they would take the number off their list.  We will see if that really works.....

I receive at least two calls a day from this 1-800 #.  I have asked them over and over again to remove my name.  They have the wrong person.  They tell me they will do so and then the calls start over again the next day.  When I have called back I actually had someone answer, "Hello".  What business answers their phones in that fashion?

They have got to be stopped.  I have even threatened to inform the AG.  I guess we will start tomorrow again with another phone call from them.  How can they be stopped? Let's all contact the AG's office in Ohio.

I have received up to 74 phone calls from them in 1 day.  They have called my house EVERYDAY for months anywhere from 40-60x a day every single day and that is no exaggeration.  The most was 74 times in 1 day.  The only thing you can do is get an attorney and sue them.  They have been sued alot for the way they handle their collection tatics.

They call at least 4-5 times a day everyday. I've gotten different ppl on the phone when the call comes in but its always the same thing they are asking for someone thats not here. I ask to take a message and I get a name and number with an ext. number too. When I ask what company they are with they say NES. Finally I had to ask on the last call what does NES stand for Kim said it doesn't stand for anything thats the name N-E-S. I said you spell the name out instead of just saying Nes? She got very short with me and hung up ask I was about to ask another question. So I did what she does to me I called her! Dialed her ext. 1210 just in case anyone wants to "bug" Kim. I said what does NES stand for then she told me what it stands for. Strange cos just a moment ago it didn't stand for anything at all. So then I followed up with saying a collection agency? And she hung up on me. Very odd thing happen after that, my phone rang caller id read out of area. I answered the phone and they hung up but I know it was them because they are the only ones that shows out of area.
