I got one of these today and was checking it out

i dont ever remember getting a phone call from them but i did recieve a package from them with 5 tv viewing diary for my household and what is really making me wonder is the cash that was put in it also.  there is 5 crisp 1 dollar bills that was in with the surveys.  should i keep the money and forget about the surveys or call the local police and have them see if this cash is counterfit.

I am a Nielsen emp. They want you to fill out the books and return them.

An agent left a message here, and says, yes they call multiple times-up to 15 times before leaving a message! (one person here complained that they have called 20 times without leaving a message!) we call even if you ask us not to! as a family member may want to participate in their survey!!! And says they are not a telemarketing co!!!! well if it talks like a duck, and walks like a duck, it's a duck!!! I'm reporting them to the DO NOT CALL & their corporate State Attorney!!!...I'm tired of companies like this one, that think that they can do this. If they are not a telemarketer, why not call once, leave a real message; "If you or someone in your family would like to participate in a Nielsen Rating Survey, and are over the age 18 call us at 800... we are paying $ amount for this survey.Simple
I have a private line, that I pay for, and feel I can't answer my own phone!!! And all because of companies like this one!!!

This 800 number keeps calling. Yesterday they finally left a message if I was interested to call them back to complete a survey. I didn't call them back and they keep calling today. I am registered with Do Not Call and have an unlisted cell phone number - wish they would stop calling!

813-366-9800 called 1:54PM on 21 Dec 2016. CID reads Nielsen Ratings. No message. Also calls from (813) 366-9893; Call 800-237-8611 to be removed from list.

They keep calling even after I tell them to STOP!

Because they don't CARE as they are most likely overseas! Get a call blocker or app!

Unfortunately these yahoos are legit. The problem is, to me they call them selves a research group, but since they are doing research for businesses to better their business and make more money, they should not be exempt.

Every night for the last two weeks they call between 8:30pm and 9pm. We wake up at 3am to get ready for work, so we are in bed by 8pm. Because of family health issues, we cannot turn our phone off at night. We don't answer the phone if we don't know the caller and they have never leave a message.

Here is the biggest problem I am seeing. Their website states that since their callers do not have access to your information, they cannot remove you from the list, so they give you a number to call. But the law states, that if you call the business, they have the right to keep calling you. They are putting people into a loop hole.

The other thing is, if you call and ask them to stop calling you, that request only lasts for a certain 'cycle'. After so long, the cycle starts again, and so does them calling you.

We need better laws to protect us. This do not call list does not do anything.

The DNC list does exactly what it was created to do. It tells telemarketers not to call you. Legitimate ones follow it. And we can have all the laws we want. That doesn't mean criminals will obey them.
