Got the same letter from AVC Travel 6321 blvd.26 Suite 450 North Richland Hills,Texas 76180 1-800-334-1323. Someone needs to put these people behind bars for doing this to people. How can so many people get the same prize and win a free vacation. What a scam !!! Don't do it people !!! They said I entered into a instant gold giveaway. What a lie !!! Signed Susan Murray . Wow! It is almost 2009. I have got the blue card today, December 14th, 2008! I see it has been around for couple years. They even have not changes the text. Scam for sure. I am afraid people who are poor, have no computers at home and thus have no idea that one can check those guys by googling them up on the web (AVC, Texas) can be trapped. But on the bright side they might not be targeted by telemarketers. I wonder how my name have got on their list (?!) What these guys are hoping for? Heating a dummies?

Oh my God! They told me I won 2 vacations, & BMW plus cash. That was two good to be true. Can't they get into trouble for this crap? Sometimes its a scam to get People that have warrants for there arrest, once the person goes there to get there prize, they arrest them. Most of them are dead beat dad's that dont pay child support & owe thousands. Thats great for them but for people like myself that dont have any warrants or owe child support sucks, because they just want to scam us for our Money.

I just got this letter and googled the address and all these postings came up. Could anyone write what the scam is about? What specificially the company says or how you know it is a scam? That would be so helpful! Thanks, E

I'll go you one better...my husband's first wife, who has been deceased for over fifteen years, got a boarding voucher and 4 day itinerary from these idiots.  Oh...and she won a Mercedez Benz valued at $49,000.

This is an advertisement.  It is a Timeshare tour.  You can go on it and receive both the Las Vegas Trip w/Air included. (Tues-Thurs stay only) and the exotic Vacation package to destinations like Aruba.  Also. Tell them it is to far to drive to the presentation, and they may offer you a Visa Check Card.  They will try to sell you hard, but I did not buy a thing and walked out with 2 vacations, and 2 GC's. And yup, I recieved this letter this week, its been a year, gonna do it all over again.

I just got the same letter,what a crock-come take a 90 minute tour of our resort and you can have a car or a trip.I'd rather try powerball atleast I know that is real and not a b.s. scam.they gave me the same mailing address but,a different # 1-800-238-9720  BEWARE! they will trap you

I received the Boarding Voucher and other information, telling me congratulation. I suposely have won one of the prizes they listed. I called and set an appointment to come in for 1-1/2 hour presentation. Honestly, I think it is a scam. After searching on the internet and seeing you reply "It is not a scam", I don't know what to think. Are you being honest?

Well, they changed it a bit - I'm in NYC and I got AVC Travel, Disbursement Division ... (800) 309-8853.  They also INCREASED the bait - "You HAVE WON ... BMW or Porsche ... value $49,000 ... VULTURES ALL!

They didn't call me i got the letter in the mail.  So like anyone else i looked them up.  The better business burro doesn't recognize them as a business and if you google map there address you get a picture of a ball field.

got the voucher and letter...i fell for it cause i actually have been filling out these contests at stores and malls lately just hoping i might win. well i called and they went thru the entire thing with me and i set up a time and place to get award. they said i'll get a map in the mail and when i get to the place ill get a $100.00 gas voucher cause its over 50 miles to the place from my house. man i feel stupid now! i feel like calling them back and going off!
call number to claim prize is 1-800-309-8595 and i do now see on very bottom in print "this material used for the purpose of soliciting timeshare sales"...this will never happen to me again as ill be looking for small print and researching online.

Today is May 7, 2009 and I just got a green awards boarding pass from these avc travel guys too. The United States post office should be held accountable for the fraud these guys are doing. First because they are using the United States Postal service to perform this fraud and I know this is against the law. I hope the Feds are looking and shut these people down. There are too many people without a computer and don't know they can google these guys and find out they are scam artist. They say the big guys always watching who is watching AVC Travel?

Im in New York too. I'm going to take this to the Post Office and find out how these guys can be prosecuted, and/or who do I report them too. We as citizens have to put a stop to this fraud to help someone who can't.  Since you live in New York take your to the Post Office and report them also. It would help the next person not be a victim.

Hi. My mom got one of those AVC Travel things for that gold give away too. Now i hate this because she doubted it too but gave into all of it. We are hoestly a very poor family and for her to get so happy over something so stupid i really hate to tell her it was a fake. It's awfull, really it is. I feel really bad for all the people who believe it. She never checked online and i'm the one who'll have to tell her. Ahh. If you do find someplace to report these people I would like to know as well

yea i received this on the mail today and it seem very shady. all the prizes they claim to give sound like total BS. [***] like this should get a new day job because obviously this little prank aint pulling alot people into their trap.
