I got a call that appears to have come from this number, which is actually the number to Chase Bank, however I believe it was a scammer/robocall as no message was left on voicemail. I've banked with Chase for years and they have never called me and not left a message. Given that I had a robocall seemingly from a different Chase number, I think scammers are spoofing Chase Bank phone numbers to get people to answer the phone.

I got a call from this number last night.  Seemed perfectly  legit.  They started to move money around from different accounts of mine and were able to link to my husband’s accounts as well.  We were disconnected and when I called back, I actually got a Chase person.  They were able to lock the accounts before the scammers could actually take the money out.  The fact that they’d moved money around was very odd.  They were most likely trying to get the most money into one account so they could drain it.

This happened to me this morning. I answered after two misses calls and they tried to get me to give them an online password code. Be weary. Annoyingly the chase fraud protection people didn’t believe me when I called so it’s good people are reporting it

Call from 8002427338, claimed to be chase fraud dept stating my card was used today for $6000 and they would send me a new card tomorrow and refund me the money. I asked if they were chase and they sent me a text verification code to confirm it was me. They had my cell number, They asked my card number and code number and kept me on hold, they asked me the pin number to the account too. I know something was wrong since I never received any alerts after these purchases were supposedly made as I normally do. Then he asked for all my passwords, I told him, no, his voice dropped and he said he needs them. I hung up. I called chase and thankfully they froze the account since someone did try to access the account today, but nothing was taken. Phishing from an Indian call center.

They called 3x in a row. I answered and they said someone tried to withdraw $4100 in Phoenix and I'm in Texas. They knew info and asked me to respond YES to a text message they just sent. I hung up on them and called Chase. While I was talking to Chase, my account was emptied. Waiting at bank now.

The same thing happened to me, I think. but when I called back it sounds like it routes to the chase fraud dept. If it IS fraud, people need to be SUPER careful. because they are very convincing.

Called me saying it was Chase Fraud Prevention saying that it intercepted and refunded fraudulent charges in TX.  They then proceeded to verify that I had not made quickpay transactions. They told me to respond Yes to the quickpay emails to which I put "received, please cancel this transaction." they asked me to do it for one more and I put yes. Chase is handling it now.

Missed 2 calls from this number. Picked up the third. They asked if I made a transaction out of state at Kroger for $300. They knew the last 4 of my debit card and also my home address. I said nothing so they would think the call dropped, then I called chase myself and reported my debit card stolen. During that call, I received 3 more calls from the same number I was calling. I believe it was a spoof. If you’re ever in doubt, call chase directly yourself.

Received a call from this number today and some guy named Michael something which I knew was scetchy because of the broken English asked if I had made purchases to Walgreens I said I don't deal with Walgreens and I hung up. I immediately got a fraud alert text from Chase. He then called back 2  more times and thought to myself. Ok maybe this is legit and should talk to him about it. So he was saying they need to suspend my card and issue another and that it would take 7 to 10 days. Ok that makes sense. So I got a text saying I need to reset my pin and set up a new pin for the new card and they had asked me to text them my old pin and not tell them over the phone. I did that. I get another text saying to setup digital wallet please type in the verification code. I did and then he said everything is good to go and hung up. I checked my account a few minutes later cuz it just didn't seem right and sure thing. 2 charges were made at a CVS in Florida and I live in Arizona. Be very careful with these guys. They are very good and very convincing. I don't get fooled often but I got fooled. Luckily Chase gave me back my money and all is good now

Unfortunately I was dumb. I received a call from this number saying they were Chase Fraud. They stated that there were 2 transactions at Walgreens in Chicago. They knew the last 4 of my card and my address. They sent me a text with a code and I had to tell him that code over the phone (which Chase actually does) They added my card to their Google Pay account and made purchases at Target in FL. Called Chase and it was a scam. Cancelled my card and deactivated my Chase login.

I received what looked like a valid text message asking if I had made a large purchase. I replied "N". I immediately received a call from this number which is a valid Chase number. "Scott Morrison" identified himself as a Chase fraud specialist. He told me that he was cancelling my card and a new one would be sent within 5 business days. He asked all the right questions until he asked me to verify my identity. He wanted me to send a pic of my DL via ID.me and asked if I would verify my SSN. Right then I heard sirens in the background and asked where he was calling from and said I heard sirens. I asked for his information and stated that Chase does not ask those types of questions. We were then "disconnected". BEWARE: he had my full credit card number that he recited to me, my home address, obviously my phone number, and birthday information. He was missing a few things, that I did not provide because I realized I was been phished. These guys are becoming very well scripted and have employed ID.me for getting proof of ID from people. I called Chase Fraud immediately and they did not show any activity on my accounts - which have all now been cancelled. -- and again, he was calling from what Chase has as a legitimate Customer Service phone number.

Very clever and convincing fraudsters. Scam.  Hang up. Told me they were from Chase Fraud department.  Said they caught a $5,000 fraudulent withdrawal.  Tried to get me to enroll in Zelle to transfer money supposedly back into my account.
But there was no $5,000 transaction in process.  They were trying to use Zelle to steal $5,000

Same story as several listed here.  Claimed to be Chase Fraud department to help stop a $5,000 fraudulent withdrawal.  Tried to get me to transfer money (supposedly into but actually out of) my Chase account using Zelle.  Sounded convincing until they said I had to act immediately.

This number just called us 2 weeks ago and fooled us into thinking they were Chase Bank fraud. They use Zelle to obtain the funds. They are very good so watch out, we lost several thousand dollars.
