paid a bill for settlement amount. I was told I could pay by money order only now they are saying I still owe the money and Trying to say they are taking me to court...this is fraud and not right....now with money order I cannot prove I paid it...This is a crime do not trust these people...

I received a letter form William W. Siegel & Associates, Attorneys at Law, LLC to pay a settlement amount for a wireless bill, so I called the number listed on the letter 866-574-1024 to find what was all about since there was no wireless account number. The representative who answered the phone asked me to verify last 4-digits of my ssn and I refused. He couldn't explain why his "law" office is acting as a collection agency. He told me that he already has my ssn that he can read it off to me to confirm; I told him that he can give the number to me but I won't confirm anything. I went to www.lawofwws.com also listed in the letter and found 800-247-4720 listed on the website. I also got a call from 866-360-3992 a few days ago, and the representative told me that she was calling from William W. Siegel & Associates. I googled all 3 numbers and comments from people stated that this is a BIG scam. Be aware all!
