A Mr. Parks requests that i return his phone call so that they can verify my information for the Attorney General's Child Support Division? What?  I thold them no, I will  call the Attorney General's Child Support Division myself.

this number belongs to eppi-card, a government ran "card" company used for government pay outs. Eg. (Child Support, unemployment, etc..)

I got a call from 512-524-3334 asking me to call 800-252-8014 to be at TX attorney office. When i tried calling this number i found out it was something related to Child Support. I don t have any children so i dont understand what is this call about.

That person posted here in 2009, 9 years ago.  Do you really believe that they will suddenly come back, see your post,and answer you?

I just received something in the mail yesterday saying I owe a huge child support back payment. As I was researching the numbers dont match up on the website. As well as when I asked who the plaintiff was as well as the child the " Attorney General " said he was not aloud to supply any of that information. FRAUD it is nice to be married to a legal assistant.

This one of the versions of a Legal Action Scam.  It is to shock and scare you into paying a fine or a penalty that is bogus.
One way to either test or ruin the scam is to insist you will pay at the courthouse - and only to the town, county or state clerk only.  Offer to meet them there. They will either hangup, make insane excuses or start with threats.

Received a call from 1800252i014. Said I owed child support. Only all my kids are grown up and havent needed child support for 7 years

This is a legitimate child support call. Sometimes someone who filed may have listed you as being aware of the situation.

Scam.  Legitimate Harris County Clerk's Office phone number being spoofed for Info Phishing/Identity Theft/Wire Fraud purposes.  I’ve NEVER fathered any children... and they’re calling a number that isn’t listed publically ANYWHERE as a means to reach me.

Was left a message saying something about child support.  Would not apply to me.  Maybe they are trying to contact a person who had my phone number in the past??

Thank you for posting this! I received a call today from 1800 252 8014, looking for my husband who’s paying child support but current on payments. I have my number listed in his CS profile, and the ‘scam lady’ didn’t want to give me her name.

Received a call on my phone looking for my husband who is current on his child support , she didn’t want to give me her name and that made me suspicious of her. I think child support first sends you an official letter instead of calling you, like most government agencies.
