- Sandy replies to Sonia| 2 repliesSonia: I have worked for them. You must have called the other company that "claims" to be associated with Delta and lies about them. Delta requires you to have an 'in person' interview prior to hiring anyone. So whoever you 'think' you spoke with, wasn't telling you the truth about anything at all because you HAVE to go in to their offices for an interview prior to showing up for actual work. They would have told you to show up for an interview, and if you passed the interview, they would have told you what time to show up for work.
- Rhonda replies to Tiger| 2 repliesI have been at the same job for 9 years. Every month "Delta Shipping Supplies" call me. Some times they call as "Delta" some times they call with another company name. They always use the same tactic. They have a new catolog and want to send me some gift along with it. I have never received a "new catolog" and I refuse the new gift. They always offer 2" packing tape at a special price. I have also asked them repeatedly to remove our number from there call list. The caller said "No, and I am going to pass it around the room." this is a scam. I have been dealing with it monthly for 9 years.
- Candy| 2 repliesI recieved a call from Delta telemarketers telling me about a special they were having on tape and how they were contacting people hoping to gain new business. I authorized the purchase of 8 dozen rolls of packaging tape that they said would cost me 4.75 PER DZ. I thought I would give the company and the tape a try because 4.75 PER DZ is not a bad price at all. About a week later I recieved a "courtesy" call from Delta letting me know they were shipping out my tape and that as a "thank you gift" they were also sending me a boom box. Then I rec'd the tape and it was crap! There was no invoice with the tape so I set it aside thinking I would return it when the invoice arrived. The invoice arrived on a day that I was out of the office and it was forwarded to our accountant who paid it. They had charged us 4.75 PER ROLL not PER DZ! Our bill was $494.80 for 8 dz tape. I then rec'd 16 more dz which I did not order and I called them immediately. They will not refund the money that was already paid and they have sent out prepaid labels to return the rest of the tape. I have told them I would not return the tape until we recieve a refund! DO NOT talk with these people, they will screw you! GO TO www.la,bbb.org and file a complaint with the BBB. Or call the BBB at 909-825-7280. You can also call the District Attorney Steve Cooley and file a complaint @ 213-580-3273 or visit the website at http://da.co.la.ca.us/default.htm. Also call the Federal Trade Commission at 1-877-FTC-HELP and file a complaint. You may not be able to get your money back but if enough people file complaints, then maybe we can shut them down!!!!
- Caller: Delta Shipping Supplies
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Staci| 1 replythey call me at least once a week to tell me that they have the new catalogs in and they want to send me out some. How do we get them to stop calling us?
- Caller: Delta Shipping supply
- Call type: Telemarketer
- CrazyK replies to Rhonda| 1 replyA marketing agent would never say that. Delta Shipping supplies is a legitamate company. Every big company has a marketing team. You can call Delta shipping supplies directly at 1626-403-0539. I use these guys and i trust these guys.
- GinasShipandPort replies to WillIf you have a problem paying for products you order, then why did you order them? Or how about asking how much each roll is when you accept the order. I bet you kept the starbucks cards and called delta to complain. It's people like you that make it hard for honest companies to compete with the corporate monsters. I own a small business in south florida and we depend on Delta Shipping for our monthly tape stock. I, just like you love the free coffee, and like i said, if you dont want something, dont order it. Your post just makes you look dumb for ordering something without knowing how much it costs. I dont walk into BMW and say "id like a new car", drive off with it, and complain later when i get billed for it!
- FavorSavor replies to Angel| 1 replyDelta Prepays the shipping as a favor to the companies that order from them. Every time we order, they prepay for us, which saves us 10 mins on the phone during our busy day. AND they give us free starbucks cards. Delta is an honest legit company. We've been using them monthly since 2007 and have no complaints. They even sent us a thank you card over the holidays with bonus starbucks cards. What other companies do that?! Delta does!
- shelly replies to AngelAfter my last post on March 28th, i called Delta Shipping and asked WHY we were charged for shipping when they said they'd take care of it. I spoke to a girl named BRENDA (i called 1626-403-0539) and she explaine they Delta prepays the shipping cost, which doesnt mean they cover the shipping cost. A box of tape is very heavy, which is why the shipping is close to $40. Also, they expedite the shipping to accomodate the client.
SO I'm writing to apologize for my original post. I was really upset because my plant manager blamed me for ordering something without his permission. Honestly i just wanted the free starbucks card and knew we needed more tape. Now I am authorized to place orders and i understand we will have to pay shipping two weeks later when we get invoiced.
I'm a little embarrased honestly. - Huh? replies to Sandy| 1 replyOh, right. That OTHER company that runs around claiming to be Delta. Silly me.
- BottledWaterINC replies to Jason ObandoHI Jason,
You really should be careful about what you order over the phone. Ask questions and don't accept anything in the mail that you don't authorize. I use Delta Shipping, and whenever they send me a new box of tape they say "Can i make this verbal attention to you?" They also offer to pay for the shipping up front, but you have to pay them back later. They make the ordering process painless, which is why you didnt feel like you were ordering.
Delta is a terrific company. You should just be careful if youre not aware of when you buy something. Thats scary, especially as an employer. I wouldn't hire you. - tape for you replies to BROOKLYN| 1 replyThey sell clear packing tape. Why whould a rep who was trying to sell you something hang up on you? Youre obviously lying.
- knives? replies to Indiana| 2 repliesWrong post or wrong number buddy. Delta only sells tape and they dont ask for your home info. I order from them all the time. A knife is not a shipping supply. You should repost on the correct page, you obviously have the wrong number.
- A+ replies to Business owner| 1 replyAll lies. Delta is great and i am one of their loyal customers. They are not an F, and if they are, it stands for fantastic!
- english please? replies to Felipe Ruiz| 1 replyDelta is not annoying, they call once a month for reorders. Tell your employees not to place orders if theyre not authorized. I love delta. we always order tape from them. And we get free coffee cards!
- I Have The Answer replies to StaciYou place an order. Youre obviously on a calling list that is for sale. Call the national 1800 do not call list. If you dont need tape, then block their number. Duh! If you need tape, take their call. Time to get personal and stop hanging up.

Kansas City - Refund replies to Candy| 1 replyI own a shipping business, and it is standard refund policy that you have 30 days to return the product for a full refund. If not don't, then its your loss. You obvuously ordered it or it wouldnt have gotten to you. Look at your invoice, it says VERBAL ATTENTION TO: _________
If it wasnt you, it was someone you work with. You commented that the price is good, which it is. Just be careful about return policies. 30 Days is standard for any business. I know life can be distracting, but you cant procrastinate these things if youre not satisfied with the order.

http://www.la.bbb.org/BusinessReport.aspx?CompanyID=100026187 - OkayAfter noticing the barrage of phony praise messages I decided to do a little due diligence on this outfit.
1 -
As another forum member pointed out, their BBB rating is as bad as it can get.

2 -
I looked around for equivalent packing tape on the internet. I had no trouble finding it for about 1/5 the price.
3 -
In the course of these endeavors I also found, on another complaint board, that a forum member had caught them posting phony messages on a variety of different message boards. The posts were exact duplicates except with different user names. Apparently their tactic is to attempt to drown complaints by sheer force of numbers. As always, once this type of activity is exposed it only does further damage to any residual credibility. - Dood replies to RefundShe commented that the price was good for a dozen, not for one roll.
If the company is such a great one with such fabulous customer service why didn't they happily take care of the problem? - Allison replies to LIL JONWe are having the same problem, lil jon.
I am writing to my phone company rep for our business now, asking to block all numbers out of Pasadena, CA.
I'm using some of these numbers on this webpage to have blocked, too.
The company is a scam - they sent us tape after claiming that a guy named Rob ordered it. We have never had a guy named Rob working for us.
Morons. There's a special place in the afterlife for scammers. Mostly for them wasting people's time.
