Caller ID 1-847-426-9209 and left message to call 1-800-257-6006 with long extension #.  Called first number...not in service.  Called second number, robot says "thanks for calling card services", NOT Chase card services!  Then it referenced opting out of telemarketing services.  This is a SCAM.  Message left had last 4 digits of recently closed CC account referencing fraud on card.  They say that because it covers if you reported fraud or making you think there is fraud on your card.  Very clever.  Don't hesitate to call back the ID number to check if it is valid.  That it is not in service is a clear giveaway.  Don't give these people any info!  Call the number on the back of your card.  These frauds are so prolific I have had to get new credit cards 4 times in the last 2 years just from on-line shopping.

Called my cell phone about my husband's cancelled Chase card (cancelled because of fraudulent charges)  I don't know how they got MY cell.phone number.  They directed me to call another nunber, 800-549-3611.  Asked me to confirm his new card number.   When I told them I wouldnt, they told me to call the number on the.back of my credit card and ask for the fraud department.  Called Chase and they said it was a fraudulent call!

Received a call from 1-800-257-6006 regarding a credit card that is no longer active. They asked for us to return call to the 800 number above and extention 6531189. Totally scammers.  Always call phone # behind credit card to confirm before releasing any of your personal information.
