- TAHITI| 1 replyCaller left a message and said he's from Chase credit card fraud department. I checked my account, and there is no unusual activity. I don't plan on returning this call.
- RB santa cruz CACaller left a message wih me saying she's from United Visa and asked me to call 800 257-6006. When I called back my credit card using a known number instead, the credit card company confirmed that they did not call me.This was clearing phishing.
- TerriI just called Chase to confirm that the call was from them and it was. So apparently it wasn't phishing.
(800)257-6006) - JoelI got a message from "Chase Card Services" asking me to call them back at 800-257-6006 about an account I had closed due to fraud. I didn't call back, but later found it was a valid call.
- Caller: Chase Card Service
- AnaThe same thing. A spanish speaker man saying that it is related to my inquiry to Chase Fraud Credit Card , but the ID phone showing in the phone is 1480902600. I called a Chase directly and no phone call was made for them. It seems scam.
- Alicia| 1 replyThe phone numbers 480-902-6000 and 800-257-6006 ARE indeed from Chase Fraud Services. I got a similar call from these numbers and I was wary so instead, I called the number on the back of my credit card and asked Chase to verify that someone had called me from Arizona. Chase verified that yes, someone from the Fraud Department had called me and the name and reason was the same as the information left on my voicemail from the Arizona number.
- tulicalled chase and it "was" fraud caller, the other people saying it wasn't are probably the fraud people them selves leaving reviews
- Fraud Squad replies to AliciaPart of a fraud campaign targeting numerous financial institutions. Note the pattern of shill postings all claiming the number is real - an obvious giveaway.
The large number of phony posts claiming the call is real come from some con artists spamming the site to try to fool people. There is a similar pattern to other fake calls claiming to be from Chase, Citibank, Bank of America, US Bank, Wells Fargo, RBC, PayPal, etc. all with the same shill postings:

- Caller: Chase
- JBI also got a call from someone claiming to be Chase, then I got a postcard in the mail which referenced this phone number! I called Chase by dialing the number on the back of my card, and they said they had no record of calling me, and that they would never send a postcard in the mail. What was especially scary about the postcard, was it had the last 4 digits of my credit card on it. So I canceled the card, just to be safe.
- Caller: "Chase"
- fraudI believe this is fraud call
- billwunderI received a call from 800-257-6006 claiming they were Chase Card Services. These are scammers. Don't believe that some of these posts here claim it is an actual bank number. It is not. That is probably the scammers leaving those posts. Stay away.
- Caller: Chase Card Services
- Guymed03| 1 replyThis is the Chase CC Visa Dept in Arizona. It's legitimate. I'm working on a fraud claim with them now. They all have 7 digit extensions/phones plus the 800 257-6006
- Caller: Chase CC div

- Frustrated replies to TAHITII called Chase and they don't have a number like that. Always call the bank and ask. Don't give out information to some one who calls claiming to be from the bank!
- MarissaI received a call from 1-800-257-6006 saying they were from Chase fraud department. I called the back of my cards number afterwards and they DID confirm that it was them.
- NicoleI got two phone calls from the Illinois number and called chase to confirm validity. (Don't give out info without knowing for sure!) chase said that both of my accounts were in fine order and that nothing was fraudulent. The account in question that they were referencing was a closed acct. these people went as far as to send a letter to my house after I told them off in the second call after confirming they were frauds... the otside was "cardmember services" said inside was a bogus "chase" emblem.. NOT VALID! Don't fall for the crafty bs!! Chase has NO NUMBER FROM ILLINOIS!!!! It's NOT THEM!!!!
- Richard TI got a phone message asking me to call this number, and on the same day, an E-mail message asking me to call about the same account. There had been a fraud on that account a couple of months ago, so I had a real message that I could compare against (thank you, Gmail archives). The phone numbers did not match. Another giveaway was that the E-mail message did not mention calling the number on the back of my credit card.
- Caller: pretended to be Chase
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- MarkI got two calls asking that I call this number, referencing an account that I closed due to fraud six weeks ago.
Caller ID on both calls was 847-426-9209.
I called the Chase Bank number on the back of my card, and they confirmed that the calls I received were also fraud.
Marissa, Guymed, and others claiming this is a valid Chase number are also fraudsters. It's obvious why they are lying here. It's not obvious why anyone would claim that a trustworthy number was untrustworthy.- Caller: Fraudster
- Call type: Scam suspicion
