they called to verify my SSN, name, address, etc ... I hung up on them

I received the same call.  I told them they could write me a letter. I hung up too.

Do not give them any information even if they already know information on you. Somehow they knew my home address and work number then the woman asked for my last 4 of ssn. They are gathering information that they don't have. She said she was from a company called Performance. I asked what business Performance does and she wouldn't answer until I gave her my last 4. So I said, how about you call on my cell. So she asked me for that number. She would have my cell if she really had business to do with me. I hung up.  Don't give away any information!

1800 258 1498 called me as well. I let it ring for a bit and tried to answer, but the call ended. I went ahead and blocked that number after reading comments above. Thanks, guys

This company has been calling on not a phone of my own, but a phone listed for someone else in my family. Today was the day I happened to be nearby, and immediately felt something was off with the caller's voice. Seemed almost as if coming out through a voice changer. Upon being told that I was on a recorded line, but was being requested to be called, on someone else's phone, I knew something was up and hung up.

I don't answer unfamiliar numbers.  They called and left no message.

Never realized this goofball called me 11 times since 8-30.  While I never pick up if I don't recognize the #, about the 5th call my record shows I answered for 5 seconds by mistake.  The call rate accellerated since.  I don't pick up anymore.

Called and claimed her name was Cyra Smith lol
Wanted info of a past business and said you will want the info I have.. I did say a few “choice” words and hung up.

Called for my husband and didn't leave a call back number

Called my cell saying she was from performance. Most 800#'s are spam or scams so I immediately hung up when she said performance... I have no business with any "company" names performance. Blocked and reported.

Exact same with me. When she asked about the last four of my social, I said “sure” but she demanded a yes or no. I asked what “personal matter” Performance handles and she wouldn’t answer so I told her maybe be can try again another time and hung up. I blocked the first number they called from but they called from this number this time.

Call from performance, scam so dont answer

caller stated they were reporting fraud alert on my social security number and to call this number for social security.i never spoke to them so they left this number. this number has come up before so i put them in reject.

Call said my cloud account had been hacked. I hung up.

I live in American Samoa. This person called my house number asking for me and left this number for me to call. Just like everyone else, I had my suspicions because I dont normally get any calls from the states every now and then. When contacting the number, a voicemail came through with the same word "Performance". Now I know that I did not just received a scam call but I just immediately hung up.
