Got this call. It was a credit bureau. They were just calling to verify some info for the home loan I am working on. Its a legit company and a legit phone call. They were able to verify the name of the lender I am working with and the full name of my loan officer.

This is Credit Plus. A lot of mortgage brokers use them for credit verification for a home mortgage. I took the persons name and hung up the first time because I was paranoid about giving my information out to them.

I called my loan officer and he confirmed they are genuine and I called them back. Ask them your lender name and full name of the loan officer to verify before you give out any information.

I too asked my mortgage company about the call from this number and Credit Plus turned out to be legit.

A fax machine call keeps coming from this number. Very annoying.
My number is not a fax line.

I called the number back and a had to go through a lot of prompts to get someone to help me.

Customer Service Rep: Sateka, was very pleasant and explained that they will get my number removed from any lists that had it listed on. Right after I hung up, I got another fax call...I know it will take some time and patience to get it updated.

Called Credit Plus again today, CS transfered to supervisor and no one picked up, they tried to transfer to a manager. Talked to Team Lead Supervisor Barbara.  Told her still getting fax calls, sometimes two of my lines going with the same fax number (Credit Plus) calling in trying to fax.  I do NOT have a fax line.  This is harrassment now. She told me someone at my work must be giving them this number but could not tell me what department if that was true. She gave me a lot of stroking and said she would email their CS email list and ask if anyone has been repeatedly trying to fax.  I did not feel as though she was really going to do anything when I got off the phone. You would think that common sense would say..hey if my fax is not going through maybe I should CHECK the number! NOT hey lets keep trying over and over and maybe it will magically work.  Pure Harrsement!! Still waiting for the calls to stop.

just an FYI - giving a directive like yours when Credit Plus is who you need to contact doesn't do a damned thing on this kind of forum. Grow some brain cells and call them directly. hullooooooo! All you're doing is making yourself look like a fool.

get a friggin' clue. call them yourself! they're not going to take action with you complaining here!!!!!!!!

10 calls from these people.  I'm only the receptionist - the lady is yelling at me like it's my fault she can't connect with HR.

I have repeatedly asked your company not to call me about credit or a loan. I do not want credit or a loan.  My house is paid in full and I do not want or desire a mortgage. Please CEASE all future calls or correspondence. If necessary I will take legal action through an attorney and file a lawsuit.
