I got the call too.  NFCU doesnt even have the number they called on file for me.

Someone by the name of Winslow called my cell phone for my son who is in the navy!  She said it was a business matter and that she is with National Credit Systems.  I have no idea how they got my number but I warned my son about the scam!!

NOT a legitimate number.

I found a yellow notice on my front door.  Not addressed to anyone and the sender only identified as "Foreclosure Dept".  The notice instructed me to call 800-258-5948.  I called and someone claiming to be Steve with Navy Federal Credit Union answered.  Since I don't bank with NFCU and my mortgage is not delinquent, I am SURE that this is a scam.  BEWARE.

I received a call from 800-258-5948 at 9:45 a.m.and they instructed me to call them back.I don't know this people.Probably they don't had nothing to do just to make easy money.There is a woman called me yesterday morning July 18,2012.Her name is Ms.Duncan debt collector.Navy Federal Credit Union.BEWARE.I'm pretty sure they are scams.

Called re estate

This is a Navy Fed number, call their customer service line and verify. Its their Mortgage dept, late and foreclosure notices.

I bank with NFCU and I called NFCU customer service after i got a message asking me to call them at this number. They told me no one had tried to contact me from NFCU and they didn't recognize the number.

Just received a call this morning asking me to call this number and caller ID said Navy Federal Credit Union which I'm a member.  I directly went to NFCU and they said no calls from NFCU had been made so definitely a scammer trying to get info.

Call from a number masked as a legitimate NFCU callback number. Person on the VM asked for me to call them back at 1800-258-5948. Not legit.

Originally received a phone call from 703-255-8062. The number showed up as Navy Fcu. Voice mail stated to call them back at this 800 #.  I've never received a call from Navy Fed that started with 703.  Won't be calling them back and will be blocking this number.

Had a call asking me to call this number, which then claimed to recognize my by my phone number, ask for the last four digits of my social security number, and then offer to proceed by bank account access code. 100% a scam.
