Someone called and asked for my husband.  When I asked to take a message they said "No message, we'll call back later." and hung up.

These people keep calling and hanging up. I don't know who they are, I try to call back and get a recording for CG Hotline. So much for the federal law to keep people from calling you and get fined for doing so. I am not happy that our goverment can't do their job in this matter but these people keep calling our home phone. If I can meet up with these people I'd [***] slap them back to where they came from and make them wish they didn't call this american!

Someone called my home and told my wife that they were from planned parenthood and could only speak to me. So she called me to tell me of the call. She sounded upset. Of course, what wife wouldn't be. I am also on the "No call list". When I called the number, I got the recording and told them to call my cell phone, because I'm a teacher and it might have been one of my students who needed my help. Now I see that was a mistake. These kinds of scams are really making it hard to help people. What is the FBI number for reporting fraud?

Get calls from this number several times a day. I don't pick up and they never leave a message.

Calls multiple times per day, will not leave message nor state who they are.  I called back and the answering machine message was "CG Hotline".

Calls about once a day and doesn't leave a message.  I called the number back and it went to voicemail for a CG Hotline.

Caller asked for my husband by name but pronounced last name incorrectly.  Told her that he was not available.  I asked who was calling.  Was given the name Stephanie. When asked what company she was calling from she said a "Financial institution".  She then asked to speak to spouse, I told her that person was not available either.
When I called back I got the CG Hotline recording.

Maybe a political call about the Medicare Advantage bill for seniors, obviously reading from a script.

San Diego - received my first call.  No answer when I picked up and got GC Hotline when I called the number.  Seems like many getting the calls live in California/San Diego. Perhaps the FCC needs to be contacted.

Getting calls now. From Steve's post, I guess it's this "Clinton Group", a company doing direct contact campaigns. Which is why it's Obama, or some judge, or an association responsible for the calls.

Because they don't sell anything, they can legally call you even if you are on the DNC list (as we are).

So, I guess when they call next time, I'll disguise my voice as my wife's (who they want to talk to) and then I'll go thru the "survey" and give them really weird answers. Like, would I vote for Obama, my answer will be... apple. On a scale of 1-10, what do I think of so and so, my answer is 1971 Corvette.

They called my home this morning.  I never answer calls if I don't know who they are and they didn't leave a message.  Returned the call a little later and got the same message about "CG Hotline, leave a message, blah, blah." I hope I don't end up with multiple calls the way some folks do!

I received three calls - no message left and when calling back - recorder says "You have reached CG, please a message with your number and the purpose of your call".  Not sure who this or what they want....

First time received call. The woman asked for my wife by name. When I said she was not available and asked if I could take a message, she said no message and she would call back later. I called the number back from my caller ID, it was an answering machine, "CG Hotline" asking me to leave a message. We are on the do not call list. What is the CG Hotline and how can they get away with calling everyone like this?

I've had 5 calls in the past week from "CG Hotline" asking for my wife. They won't talk to me. I called them back and left tham a message. Don't know what good it will do. Have no idea what their purpose is since they won't talk to me.
