Said I had a computer virus. Kept calling back

Received message that I had a computer virus.  At first, I thought it was legitimate as the information appeared with the Microsoft logo.  As conversation progressed, realized it was a scam.  After I hung up, they continued to call.  Most likely, my computer is compromised.  My fault for not being more cautious.  DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.

I fell for this what do I do

They said I had a computer virus and assured me over and over it was no scam.

hey guys I got the same computer virus pop up and they tried to scam me don't believe them! I let them go through my files but I did not buy the software they were selling. its a scam

If you allowed them to remotely connect to your PC they may have given you malware and done something to your data/information. I would be concerned.

say they are from microsoft and try and sell you security that is not needed

I just received the same message and continue to get calls from them.  I hung up.

Got 5 calls in rapid succession from 800-261-7658 this am.  No meaningful message left on our recorder.  Blocked them.
