Robocall asked if my child was home, to press 2 to have this person come to the phone for “important personal information.”

These crooks still keep calling from time to time and often don't leave a message.  This time they disguised themselves as "Marketing Sales" on the CID.  They've done it before.  We still don't owe anything and have paid off all bills recieved in writing.  Obviously they are trying to collect on bogus debts as their standard way of doing business.

Calls a lot. Never says anything. I quit answering.

Has called twice this week.  Did not answer.  Left no message.  Blocked number .

3rd call.  Message only records some of what they're trying to say.

They call me about “personal business” once a day. I never answer. Is it a scam or mistaken collections agency?

This isn't a complaint forum or the FCC and has nothing to do with the companies that are calling. It is simply a place to post notifications of scam callers.
