In my opinion, Public Reputation is a Google Listing Scam. Constant robocalls from spoofed (fake local) numbers. The company is located in Florida and The Domincan Republic but the caller ID's come up as local numbers to trick the business owner into thinking it is a potential local customer so he picks up. If you press 1, you get a telemarketer that reads a script claiming your Google listing is invisible or it will be removed from Google unless you pay them $299. A few days after you pay them, you have an "appointment" with another telemarketer who tells you to pay another $1,000 to be listed on a bunch of other directories besides Google. For your information, Google Business Listings are FREE ! If you feel that you have been scammed by Public Reputation, contact the FTC to report your experience. You can do that online at ftc.gov or by calling 1-877-FTC-HELP.

Thank you so much for sharing this information - I just got a call with this exact information !  The first call was within the state and when they called back - due to "computer issues" - it was with a number from another part of the state.  Their subsequent calls were from this 800.

Yes!  They're a total scam.  They just outright lied to me and claimed to be calling from "Google, Inc."  When I told him we're not a public company and we don't want to be listed at all, he tried arguing with me.

Where are the laws to stop these calls 3 times a day?

total ripoff, have nothing to do with Goggle, call comes in as a local number, another spoof. Total POS company

This number charged 149.99$ on my card. Found out it’s a scam and many people have been called by these people.

The callers are not allowed to give u the Real Address from their PR.
