No name or number to give out.
They will try again next week.

Said they were Dunn & Bradstreet-Canada. Doing their annual update of their business directory. Wanted to confirm the business name and address and if it was a partnership...name of partner. Also wanted name of bank we dealt with. Did not give. Also wanted to know the ratio of our business done between internet and sales promotions.
Sounds lo-git but then a lot of scammers do.

They have called several times but each time I answer they hang up!

Called our office, charitable office.  Updating a directory - said name was Dunn and Bradfords - then asked big question for bank and account which sent up red flags!  She did answer my questions and I have updated other directories with our business information, but now believe they are selling something or this is a scam, expecting mail or calls.

they called my work and wanted to update and confirm our name and address also phone number and fax.. but no other info was asked of and i didnt give out any either... said they were just a business directory.

The above phone number and the rest behind them will be under an investigation and the authorities will be also contacted.

They called and presented themselves as D&B and I automatically assumed (D&B Canada - Dun & Bradstreet Canada) and reviewed what seemed like directory (address, phone #, fax #, name of president and when started doing business).

The lady that called wanted data confirmation about our company. Don't know them at all, so gave her nothing and hung up. Sounded like not a legit call.

I would like to know to whom the toll free number belong(8002660333), because they keep calling and hang up on me

Called me today and wanted to know our business info, said they were updating it. So they asked our address and confirmed it, and then proceeded to ask who is the owner, how many people own it and asked who the president was. When I cut her off and said "I thought this is a quick update on our address, not our personal business info" she said "it's only going to take a minute" then proceeded to ask our average yearly revenue, so then I responded " That's none of your business, this conversation is over" CLICK!!! So ridiculous, if you want to update our current address, fine, but don't start asking us personal information that we don't publicize.

Rec'd call.  Picked up & said "Hello?".  Nobody there.
Ridiculous.

So far I have received 6 calls from this number in the past 7 days.  3 of these calls have been very early in the morning (a couple of them waking me up).

I find that the caller id information that is shown on my telephone has changed since I received my first call from them.

I would suggest that, because they seem able to ALTER their call display information, they are probably scammers (despite claiming to be Dunn & Bradstreet).

Same story as several above, woman wanted to verify address and basic, freely available info, then began to ask q's about ownership at which point I terminated call.

These A--holes are persistent. They call me 3 to 4 times a week for the last 4 weeks. I just ignore their calls. Those who don't want to leave a message are not from a reputable company.

As of April 7th, I have received a total of 15 calls from this number in the space of 22 days.  At 15 calls, they have now distinguished themselves as being the most persistent nuisance caller I've ever had (beating the last guy who only stopped after calling me 14 times and my reporting him to the Better Business Bureau).

They called every 10mins today from 9am-2pm. Fortunately, I've blocked their call and wasn't home to receive it.

I have now received 17 calls from this #.

They have yet again changed the Caller Name that shows up on my Call Display.

Now I see:
Caller Name:  "INTERNAT'L CALL"

they called me at work and said they were D&B and asked me was this your number and fax and is this your address.... they said they were updating, and they already had everything on file. and they just asked if i was afillieated with any bank i said yes and she was like ok. thank you for your time. they never asked which bank it was.
