Called once, rang once, now blocked. Hahaha

Caller said to stop driving my car because there is a major recall. The will cause my vehicle to literally explode. Bwahahahaha, my car is 18 years old.

came in on 1-800-266-0601 saying there is a potential safety recall released by NTSB  on my current registered vehicle.   and at no expense to me call for details 1-800-705-5388.  Whatever vehicle that might be huh guys?  Who is the brain behind this scam?!

No ring - just VM - left another 800 # to call for more info on vehicle recall info.  Just more BS.  Do not call the numbers left.

Called to say there was a safety recall on "my vehicle" and to call the number at no cost to me.

Some scam abt a vehicle recall..

This ones super slimy.  Message left there is a recall on my vehicle, but did not identify manufacturer.  Called back and got enough info that this is probably just a front for extended warranties.

I received the following voice mail message: “This message is regarding a potential safety recall that may have been issued by the national Highway administration on your current registered vehicle for more information on the recall at no charge to you please call our office at 800-705-5388…”

I suspect this is a scam.  My phone didn't even ring it just showed up as a voice mail message.

Left message there may be a recall on my vehicle and left another 800 number to call back.  Called back and they had my name and vehicle information without my providing any more than yes/no answers.  They then verified my particular vehicle was not part of the vehicle recall and they ended the call...

They left me a message that my car has a major recall and to another number to find out what to do 800-705-5388.  They did not leave the name of the company on the message.

Got this same phone call and called back. They knew who I was right away and said that my Jetta had a recall.  When I said that I don't have a Jetta anymore, he said thank you for calling back and he would correct my account. Call over.

Another shill. If not, then what's the company name? If they don't identify themselves -- as is evidenced by the other entries--- then they're NOT who YOU say they are. Liar.

Same here as with the other callers. What's interesting is my car, a Subaru, did have a recall recently for a wiper motor. But I got a notification directly from the manufacturer. So this is a scam.
