Got a call from this number yesterday and, when I answered, they hung up.  Then got another call today from 800-266-7084 and the same thing, they hung up as soon as I answered.

Got a call from this number today saying they are American Express operater wouldn't give any info I do not have an American express card they were saying there was a past due bill was on hold for quit a while then conected to fraud claims department and they hung up on me??????????

same here. i got a call from this number 800 266 70 89 and they said they are american express. when i lost connection and try to call them back. another company answered and they said they are not american express. they are a company that helps depressed people. no idea what is going on. i tried to call back again and again . same answer every time

Call came in on our land line. Didn't answer and they left no message. I have no intention of returning the call.
