I received a call from this # on my Cell & called it back from a landline.

The recording states it's an Amazon Work-from-home program which COSTS YOU $200 to start up because they'll build you your own Amazon Referral Website. Of course, IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE $200 UP FRONT TODAY they encourage you to call back when you have it rather than taking this $200 from your initial earnings so you could get started immediately. This is all "fine and dandy" but for those of us who are BARELY making it on our primary job & are looking for a 2nd income WE DON'T HAVE $200 LAYING AROUND!!!

This SOUNDS legit but I'm not convinced it is...

States it's an amazon work from home referral program. This needs forwarded to amazon so they are aware of these phone scams. They have the money to shut these scammers down.

Got a call which was a recording. I called back and heard about the $200 today. If you don't have $$ now, call back when you do. I left a message requesting not to be called again, told them it was a scam, and that I had reported them. Please don't  fall victim to this. Amazon does not need to rely on outside websites to generate business.

This is a phone call reporting site, not a business venture discussion group. Perhaps search "Amazon Associates" for your feedback as a start.

Scammers spoof phone numbers  and impersonate legitimate companies to trick you into giving them money or personal info they can use to steal money.

Never trust a caller to be who they claim to be, always call from an official number to verify if they did.

Intentional PARTIAL voicemail, rigged to ENTICE potential victims. The dopey sounding MALE voice IS computer generated and the grammatics suggest AMATEUR HOUR--likely scripted by foreigners. ALAS!! This spoofed Internet number is source tracked to Pakistan---this alone answers A LOT of questions!  DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER BACK. You are wiser to simply go to THE OFFICIAL AMAZON WEBSITE.

I received a call on my cellphone. I did not call back, since I was busy. No voicemail message was left. I have read other people posts & it looks like this a scam. Will not be calling this # back either.

Yes they just called me and said they need me to call them back and it’s not a job offer. Doesn’t make sense to call back when you’re the one who called me
