Did not receive a call from this number but I did receive a little package on my drive containing a trash bag and note asking for used clothing and the number on it was 1-800-274-1135.

This is a scam do not leave any clothing for these people.  If you have clothing bring it to a real charity box or go to repurposenj.org. and either drop off the clothing or call for a pickup.  Don't support these scammers they are not a real group.  They are just a front!

I donate all my clothing, shoes and coats to repurposenj.org.  They give the coats and other usable items to the poor and the money raised goes 100 percent to charity.  This is an obvious.   I am going to report them.

Don't leave clothes for this scam group.  Go to repurposenj.org as they are a real charity who uses 100 percent of the money raised to help locally in the community.

I get those little packages several times a year. Includes a pink note you are supposed to attach to your bag for pick up.  I looked up the 800 number - no listing.  I looked up their charity registration - also no listing in New Jersey.  I would say it really is a scam as others have noted, just can't figure out what the heck they do with the donated clothing.
going to try the repurposenj web site noted and see if they have any better info/reputation.
