I'm always checking to make sure my call blocker is not blocking some call that I want.  Got a call from this number.  Google had several doctors associated with this number.  Not sure why they are calling.

Legitimate call with a billing question.

I called them because the number was on my caller ID.  It is Professional Billing and they needed my account number which I do not have because I don't know who they are.

nt even know what your talking about. I asked who they were and who they were calling for but the Lady wouldn't tell me.  I asked her how I'm supposed to give her an account number when you haven't said what the bill is for . I told her if she couldn't tell me what the bill was for that I was not giving her any information over the phone . I said send me a bill.

I think this is medical related, and not a scam.

I went into the hospital about a month ago, and now it's bill-paying time.

It would be nice if their company name was displayed on my Caller ID, though, because my default is to block incoming calls with unfamiliar telephone numbers, and I blocked their incoming call by mistake. Sorry about that, folks. The check's in the mail.

Scam to get financial info.  Do not release any info to anyone who calls.

Anyone who calls from an 800 # without leaving a message is suspect in my book.
