I had a call from this number claiming to be a Microsoft technician who wanted me to give him remote access to my computer because updates were not getting through, supposedly.

I refused.  I said to email me about the problem first.

However, I have dialed the number back.  Twice.  A recording says the number I dialed is not in service.  So it was a scam I presume.

The caller was very convincing, and he sounded like an Indian geek.  I almost agreed but thankfully I resisted his charms.

Nobody on the end of the phone so I hung up.
