I have gotten 24 calls from this number in the last month; I'm now getting 2 per day.  No message left (I don't answer my phone unless I recognize the number).  I have supposedly blocked their call (a feature on my phone that doesn't work that well) and complained to the FTC three times - nothing's happened. When I Googled the number, Bottom Line Personal came up. When I Googled Bottom Line Personal, their number appeared at the bottom of the screen.

Bottom Line Personal is a magazine.  You might have to call back and ask them to stop calling you.

they call and hang up .. keep sending payment vouchers for something I had already cancelled

We have received two calls a day for at least a month. I will not pick up since it says unavailable. There have been no messages left. I have just read that the calls are from Bottom Line to which we subscribe. I will email them to stop calling, but from what I have just read, it seems it will be futile.

I'm getting unsolicited calls daily from these people. I formerly subscribed to one of their publications, but quit because of the constant bombardment (daily) of advertising. They claim to have the answer to every human ailment on the planet. If so, why don't they just donate that info & go away...

They are still at it in 2017. Got a call from this number as "Unavailable." Two weeks ago I received a post card with a phone number I could call to cancel a book they would be sending me... That's how they got my phone number, and now the calls begin.

I do not have my answering machine on unless I expect a call but this number is ridiculous!!  It is time for our phone and communications companies to start caring about their residential customers.  $76 a month to put up with this harassment is also ridiculous.

You don't have to "put up with this harassment". You can block the number or even the entire area code.

Phone companies are common carriers so they are obligated by law to allow every call to come through, unless you specify which ones shouldn't.  You can do this in several ways such as getting a call blocker.  You are also given the right to file complaints at government agencies, and given the right to sue the offender so that they pay you for the harassment.  Now, if you want to know more about that stop back.
