Wanted me to call in relation to a problem with my apple account.

Says cloud is breached

I didn’t answer, and the caller did not go through the prompts to bypass my call screening device.

Don't leave a company name, mention Apple support and give call back number. SCAM

I had the exact experience Dave describes in his May 3 2019 entry.  Claim to be Apple support. The callback # is spoken as Dave wrote it, 1,000 800 77 900 60 0666.

Robo Phishing Scammers.  Left brief, poor quality, partial recorded msg, press #(?) or call 2092760529 (not even close to caller ID#). Msg did not identify Caller or purpose.

This is definitely bogus -- avoid!

I answered the call. It was a speach synthesizer saying my Apple device is bridged and asked me to take action.  I Don't have Apple device.  Scam.

Apple automated call which says your account maybe compromised due to multiple login attempts.. not to do financial transitions on your apple device until you speak to one of thier representatives by pressing 1. I can't say if This is a scam or not as anyone can spoof the number but we do have an old device which we dont use anymore. We havent contacted apple either

I received 3 calls from this number today. Didn't answer the first two times and the voicemail was hard to understand. I finally answered the third time and it was a pre-recorded voice that says something about my iCloud being comprised and that they're Apple tech support, press 1 to talk to someone or 2 to be taken off the call list. I don't use any Apple products, plus I know Apple wouldn't just call you. Looked up the number (which is an actual Apple number but it's being spoofed) and it led to different articles about this scam.

Scammer spoofed the real Apple support number for customers to call, but Apple does not make outgoing calls from this number. The scammer wants you to call back on a “toll-free” 209 number to steal your info. Don’t fall for it!

Call saying my Apple computer is not working right. Funny, I don't own any Apple products. Never answer any calls unless you know who they are. 99% are all scams.

False!  I had a call from this number and I do not have a apple phone.. Everyone block that number.. Its a scam...

When I checked this number on White Pages, it was listed as Northern Wells School in Indiana.  The phone call was informing me that my ICloud had been compromised.  Now they are even using school numbers to evade any Do Not Call.

Called me twice, within 30 minutes, about there being something wrong with my Apple iCloud. Only problem with that is, I don't have Apple! (Wonder how they got my number?)

No, they're not using certain numbers, in order to avoid the DNC list. They're calling from overseas, where our U.S. laws don't apply. I understand this is a legitimate Apple phone number, that has been spoofed.
