- theycalledme2Morgan & Associates, attorney/debt collector. I got a call from them due to a lumber yard credit card which has gone into collections. They represent World Financial Capital Bank, which is the parent company for several credit cards.

- Fed up!| 1 replyI called Morgan and Associates back to pay off the debt I owed to Victoria secret. When I said I couldnt pay in full and asked about payment arrangements, Shannon Davis said that she was putting a refusal to pay in the notes and hung up on me. I called back and was transferred to Shannon Davis again. She answered and told me she was confused. Then began to mock what I was saying in a little baby voice. I swear...this woman actually did this to me when I was trying to PAY OFF the debt. She told me she could act however she wanted bc I wasnt a "Client" I was a debtor. Then she told me to hurry with my check book for the account number so that we may hang up and not have to talk to each other anymore. I was in shock and almost a little teary eyed. She was the ignorant person that I have yet to deal with! So glad that my debt to them is gone!

- Heather replies to Fed up!I had to deal with that Shannon Davis [***] too! She called me about the debt and I set up for my account to be payed in full on that following Friday. Well, 2 weeks later the check finally tried to go through and it bounced. Now I have to call this woman back and if she gives me any [***], she can kiss my ass!
- GramsThey keep calling me too, over a Fashion Bug Card. The parent company is aware that the only income we have is from my husband's Social Security... big news, sweetie! You can NOT garnish a Social Security Acct unless it is CHILD SUPPORT or a FEDERAL DEBT!!! I used to be a collector & knew my job very well. Also, she would do well to remember the old adage, "You catch more flies with sugar than you do with vinegar." I wasn't in the "Top Five Collectors" every month by being rude. You give respect, you get respect...and the debt gets paid and everyone is happy.
Besides, I have an answering machine. I am very ill and it's not nice to overstress seniors with 'delicate' health problems....could get nailed with a "Wrongful Death" suit and that ain't pretty!- Call type: Debt collector
- Stop the CallsI get a message from them DAILY looking for someone I've never heard of . They say to hang up if your NOT that person - which I have but they CONTINUE to call me everyday. Today I listened to the message and a women's recorded message said she was Gina trying to collect a debt from Nelson Blakely Hamilton who ever that is, they provided (2) phone numbers to call - I called both numbers it rang and rang and rang NO ONE ever answered even thought I hit Redial 4 or 5 times.
- Call type: Debt collector
- dodgeblonde replies to gotacall2they sent me a letter wanting money owed on a debt.my question is are these really attorneys or just debt collectors

- AJThey have called me for a bill to cox business. I am late paying the bill, but its not in collectons. Its a monthly bill for my office. I do not think they are a ligit company. If I have a debt with someone, I call the company I have a debt with. I will not pay a 3rd party so they can get their piece of the pie. Also, in doing so, you can negotiate a % of the bill to pay off. I used to be a debt collector and know the game...PAY YOUR BILL TO WHOM IT IS OWED-NOT A DEBT COLLECTOR. Always negotiate a % or dollar amount and settle it. Make sure you get that in writing before you pay and have it off your credit in 30 days...HOPE THIS HELPS.....
