I am sure that ATT would show up on a Caller ID as ATT and on a V string of numbers.

This number has called here repeatedly and there is never anyone on the line, I wait to see if someone will be there eventually and the line just disconnects after a few seconds.  Its an ATT number but whether its spoofed or not I don't know. It always sounds like an automated call with some buzzing and static in it.

OK... after their 3rd call today alone I finally got someone to speak... a woman with a strong mexican accent trying to sell me ATT's internet, tv, and phone bundle for what sounded like $800 a month or something.
So all the hang-up and no-message calls I've been getting from them have been unrequested SALES calls.
I wonder if they'll keep calling now that I've had the chance to tell them we aren't interested.

Unknown caller, which I never answer or call back. I have ringer turned off, though can see phone screen light up when incoming call. I don't have to listen to the phone ring all day by calls from these jack@sses. Check phone a few times a day for missed calls. If legitimate, they'll leave a message.  95% are not legit, so my policy continues to be justified... Online complaints about this # says is ATT, though we don't have ATT or any of their affiliate companies, so just a phishing scam.

This # has been calling off and on for several months. My caller ID says ATT. ATT has been hastling us for years to bundle everything. I'm sure it's their Sales people, they don't give up and they never leave a message. I'm so annoyed with them already.

Got a call from this number, they left no message.  From what I am seeing from past posts I do not have AT&T, and never had service done.  Sounds fishy to me.

Received  a call and message from this number saying it was At and T and my service was being discontinued or something to that effect. I called back and after being transfered to a couple of different people I figured it was bogus. She was asking too many questions and I wasn't getting any satisfactory answers. I called AT and T and got nowhere with them. Just wanted to know if  they called. She said something about changing my password which I didn't know. So she couldn't help me. I just hung up, it was frustrating.

They called from this number, ostensively to sell me direct tv.  I politely said we aren't interested in direct tv and hung up at this point.

Received a call from this number, but did not pick up.  Caller ID identified the caller as AT&T.  As our household does not have any business with AT&T, this had to be a telemarketer/scam call.

Has called using various numbers. Sounded like a boiler room. Asked why she was calling, replied something about a promotion. This is happening all the time.

I cannot believe this is really an ATT call.  A legit company would leave a message.  I think ATT is getting spoofed

I agree with some of the other comments.  I do NOT believe this is really AT&T calling.  I retired from Pacific Bell but never worked for AT&T.  This might be their main number but it has called my land line once a month for the last 3 months.  They'd have no reason to call me.  I have a feeling they've been spoofed!  ugh!

Like many of the other posters on this site, I got a call from AT&T that was downright strange.  The call came in at 7:13 pm on Friday, February 16, 2018.  My caller ID said, "ATT" and the phone number was 1-800-288-2020.  The caller did not leave a message.  I have had AT&T phone and Internet service for seventeen years.  My bill was paid in full and my check was cashed.  The community where I live provides DirecTV so I hope they are not trying to sell me a second television package.

If this was a legitimate call from AT&T they would have left a brief message.  Why call if you are not going to communicate?  This sounds like a telemarketer.

I don't have AT&T for land line or mobile.  They called on my mobile - which is with T-Mobile.  Left no message. I guess even AT&T ignores the Do Not Call List.  Of course, everyone ignores the List.

Of course, you realise scammers ignore the DNC list, right? It's unlikely this is actually AT&T.

Called my mobile number a few minutes ago and started with the classic AT&T music then the robot voice said they were calling about an account cancellation or something like that. I have not had AT&T in over a decade. It gave me some numbers to pick from and I just left it alone for several seconds and it disconnected. I say this is a total scam disguised in what was once a legit AT&T number.
