Calls our business off and on over the past year. I always let it go to voice mail and they NEVER leave a message. If they really have a business matter to discuss, or even if it really is WF, you would think they would leave a message! We do not have any WF accounts, credit cards or vehicle loans, so I think it's a scammer spoofing the number....

I do not owe anyone..  This # constantly calls my cell #. I have no idea how they got my #.  Sad the world is full of Scammers. If they spent as much time working at a legit job instead of working at scamming others they might become millionaires. They need to accept JESUS & change their lives.

Unknown number, so never answer or call back. Googled number and saw complaints on many sites about scam spoofing Wells Fargo number. NEVER answer personal questions from unknown / unconfirmed callers. Added to call block list.

100% not legitimate. Wells Fargo would not bomb you with legitimate customer service calls. They know how to reach you by snail mail / email. If you do receive something from a bank you do business with that seems legit, call them back using the customer service phone # on your debit / credit card or paper statement. NEVER give sensitive info to incoming callers.

This corporation gets a lot of these types of calls.  When the number is so obviously a sales/collection/telemarketer number, we do not answer.  Or put them on indefinite hold, time is money for them.

Perhaps NOW its WellsFargo, but 12 years ago it was Westlake Financial Services.

keep getting calls from this number 8002898004. dont leave a voicemail. i caller id says well fargo. i don't have an account with Wells Fargo.

I thought this was Wells Fargo? But these comments say otherwise.

Claimed to be from Wells Fargo. Wanted my SS# and Tax ID in order for them to help me. They got real mad when I said I dont give out my SS# on the phone. There is no way this was legitimate.  Banks dont usually call customers,  especially when your not financing anything with them.

Caller Id says Wells Fargo. No message left on machine.

No message...now blocked.
