If they never use the same number to call from, why bother blocking the number(s) then?

They are simply trying to collect overdue bills and you seem to be dodging them.

OK, if that is the case then why are you scared to death to talk to them?  Maybe they aren't trying to collect a bill from you.  For instance maybe they are looking for location information on someone you know.  You can easily stop the calls with a simple "cease and desist" letter sent to them by certified, return receipt mail.

They call several times every month. No voice mail left. Every time a different number that a few Google results say it's Midland Credit doing "collections" just as many Google results indicate scammer spammer. I have no consumer debt. Haven't had any consumer debt for 30 years. Every time they call I block that number. Wow they must have a thousand numbers they can use. OR it is a spammerscammer. I'm voting for that AS I HAVE NO DEBT AND I HAVE NO PAST DEBTS AND I HAVE NO OVERDUE DEBTS. Lather rinse repeat.

Libby, they may simply have the "wrong number."  I had a similar experience with another collection agency even though I had my number for over 20 years.  I was fortunate enough to be able to stop the calls simply by telling them they had the wrong person associated with my number.  If that doesn't work for you, you may have to send a cease and desist letter.  Here's information on what to do when a debt collector calls the wrong person.  Hope this helps.  Those calls are annoying as heck.
