They call quite often. I called the number back from a different phone and it was GE Money. I am guessing they called about a late payment.

They call daily.  NEVER leave a message.

They have called my CELL PHONE 6 times today-it is SUNDAY. Above poster is correct-they NEVER leave a message. These people need to stop harrassing people!

It is GE Money Bank. Their credit collections dept. It will most likely be blank when you pick up. Auto-Dialer. Then operator comes on

they call me at work daily.  i typically don't answer 1-800 numbers that show up on my caller id.  whoever they are....its annoying!

This number has called me several times over the past couple months.  I tried to call it back the first time and got an automated message saying that this was GE Money's number, which I thought was weird because I have never had any business w/them and hadn't even heard of them til I looked up their website.  Sometimes they will go a week w/o calling and then the next day will start calling my cell phone like 3 times everyday for awhile!  I'd have to agree w/everyone else that it is really annoying!!

Yeah, just got a call from them for a relative of mine who wasn't home.
Conversation went like this:

(Mary = Representative from GE Money)
(Me = Me ;])

Mary: Is "so-and-so" home?
Me: No, I'm sorry they're not.
Mary: Oh ok, can I leave a number with you for them to call?
Me: Sure.
*Write down number*
Me: May I ask who's calling and take a message?
Mary: This is Mary from G E Money, and this is personal business. They'll know what it is.
Me: Thanks, bye.


Then.. to make sure it wasn't a collector, I called the number, and guess what? Collector. Auto-mated Voice Message System. ;[

Anyway.. GAYYY! Who would name their company "GE Money"? Sounds like a Ghetto company. ;]

have a card with them.  Have been current.. but they say I'm not.. They call with a BLOCKED ID every day 6 times a day.. but never leave a message.  The current payment isn't even due until the 23rd of this month.. WTF

I changed my number two days ago as I was tired of the calls. Guess what!
GEMoney was the first call I got right after my number was changed. Today they called twice. I just called and got a human. They wanted my account number and I don't have one and then woman wanted my SS #. Idiots. I told woman I would call the phone company tomorrow and have a trace put on my phone and they would be reported to police for harrassment. Woman had an accent so I don't even know if she is from US. GRRRRR  If they call again I will pick up and then lay phone down and say nothing.

These people called my neighbor looking for my husband.  When I called back, they could not give me any information.  I told this idiot - you called my neighbor asking for my husband and you have NO information! I told her I refused to give any information other than my name - you called me! She then gives me another number to call for assistance.  I called it and it's GE money.  We are in a debt consolidation program and this "Encore" uses phishing.  We work with UCAN and they stop the calls!

My grandmother is receiving unwanted calls at her home. She is elderly and hard of hearing. These phone calls are a nuisance and we would request they be stopped. Please remove her number from the data base. The number is (915) 858-1160.

this people is been at least 6 time a day.i call them back and they dont want to give me any information but they want my ss# and some account #.somebody have to stop this people.

I just got a call from this number on my cell phone. The caller ID said 'Private' so I didn't answer. They left a message - or part of one. It's GE Money. Also available at geonlineservice.com.

I called the number back because it looked like a collection agency for a dental care place that loans money for dental work that my son used once. I made the appointment for him so my ohone # is probably attahed to his account. They want an account #. i don't have one so I just waited. A man came on and asked for my account #. I said I didn't have one. He then asked for my name. I told him that they called me so if he couldn't cross reference my number with a name, I couldn't help him. He hung up on me.

hey people.. ive been reading the complaints above. i too got a call from this company. its very understandable that we get irritated when calls go on and on. believe me it really is annoying. i got tired of hearing the constant ringing so i answered a call and waited patiently for someone to pick up. when someone did, we discussed the reason why they kept on calling. then i found out that i was behind payments. i told them to stop calling since i dint have the funds available yet. soon enough, calls stopped. a couple of days later calls resumed again. this time i had the money. so we set up a payment to take care of the acct and voila no more collection calls from them. so i think its really about taking care of our own business is the only way for them to stop. if u think they dialed the wrong no. dont be rude and hung up the phone. tell them they dialed a wrong no. and ask them what number they dialed so that they can do something about it. i think this will help stop the calls. thanks.

The last poster is right.Tell them to removed the # after confirming ur # with them...so if they are calling ur # but not for u just tel them to remove it... simple. I did it & believe me.... it worked....  :-)

Send them a cease and desist letter and then the HAVE to stop calling you!
