They are still at it. Text saying Melissa had been added to my personal profile. Do not have a profile with them. Do not know Melissa M Wilson.

I received this number in a message on usaa.com, under my messages.  I am a USAA member.  I am not familiar with this number, but, the message seems to originate within USAA.  USAA added my external bank account after I made a monthly auto insurance payment...though this was a recent endeavor by USAA.  I don't really recall adding/consent to add any accounts to my profile, because that is not something I do.
Many companies who receive payment by phone do the same thing... Whether we like it it not.  It should be reported to federal authorities - and the Senate Banking Committee.  And the Treasury Department.
I find USAA to be disreputable in many ways.

Received a text today that "JOHN DOE" was recently added to my account... if I didn't authorize it to call this number. I don't have an account with USAA.

A text message from "800-292-8995" said I was added to the "personal profile of Stephan Marciniak."  I DID NOT call the number, contacted USAA through their correct number (800 531-8722) and spoke to the agent.  The USAA company actually DOES have a "Stephan Marciniak" in their files, and the account is "covered with red flags" signifying fraudulent activity.  Blocked and deleted this number, a scam of some sort.

I got exactly the same text message on my cellphone. I was suspicious because although I am a USAA member, they don't call on  my cellphone. In fact, the company doesn't even have my cell phone number.

Received over 75 test messages within 1 hour stating a fund account access was made in my USAA profile.  Test provided this number; NOT the USAA number. I googled the number and found these reviews.  Definitely a scam!

I guess they are back at it in 2021.  I got the same message as everyone above, 6 times in a row.  I’ve blocked the number.

Exact same as me have 40 texts and counting every 2 minutes. Do not have usaa account!

wife just starting getting the message 'USAA: An account was added to your list of accounts available for funds transfers. If you didn't authorize this, please call 800-292-8995.  Reply HELP for help.'     after six texts I convinced her to block the number.  Does anyone know where else to report this possibly fraudulent but definitely annoying scam?

First text was a one time authorization code  and 10 minutes later another stating an account had been added for funds transfers.  I have no affiliation with USAA.  Happy to have found this site to backup my scammer suspicions.

Received a call at 10:30pm from this number stating that a large attempted charge was made from my USAA card. They made up some bull about needing to verify new security questions, and asked for my account number. Hung up, contacting USAA (I do have an account) to report this number/clarify if it's legit. Dont think it is

Received a text from 868722 claiming to be from USAA about a trust account.  Reported to USAA

I received a notification in my USAA app stating that one of my children "was recently added to your personal profile. If you didn't authorize this, please call 800-292-8995." I called the main number and they did not see this message or add anyone to my profile.

Received a text saying I was recently added to the Trust.  Contacted USAA. They said it is a fishing scam.

Just got this same text (6-6-2022)

Got a text telling me someone was added to my personal profile.  ARAIK, my USAA account was closed years ago.  Scam.

Tried me but did add name to my profile
Added a Terrence Ross but the fraud department is on his ass. Sick and tired of these folks foreal!!!
