Caller claimed to be from Directv/ATT, offering me a 2-year monthly rate on TV for $59.99.  But to get this special deal, i must go buy an Ebay card for $300 to cover the first 5 months of service.  Then call 888-980-8440 to give them the card #.  Obvious scam.  Called ATT to notify, so they could investigate

Just go same type of call. Likewise called Directv/Att. Scam for sure

Just got the call offering me Direct TV & Internet for $74.00 a month for 2-years, but pre-pay $300 with a e-bay gift card and only call 888-980-8440. LOL
